You might wonder how many people are curious about the feel of a cosmetic prescribed by dermatologists. But I'm writing this review in case there are others like me out there. I also got this prescribed at a dermatology clinic, and it was almost like contact dermatitis = Ligen S Cream. Despite the unfamiliar name and lack of reviews, which made me a bit uneasy, I used it anyway. My conclusion? It's good enough that I'd want to buy and use it even outside the clinic. It's similar to Avène's Tolerance Cream, but feels slightly more hydrating and lightweight. It's like they created a cream specifically for ultra-sensitive skin conditions. It's not irritating at all, and while it might seem a bit lacking in richness, that's actually what makes it great for use even in the height of summer. I wish they'd officially launch this derma line and stock it in Olive Young.

When you have blemishes, it's great to apply this lightly instead of rich creams that might not absorb well. It's also good to use after dermatological treatments.

I initially bought a small size from the dermatologist's office. After finding it worked well, I purchased the 60g version online. I've been using it for about a month or two, and there's absolutely no excess oil or greasiness. Even when I apply a generous amount, it absorbs well. What I love is that the next morning, my T-zone isn't oily at all - it feels nice and matte. There's no oily residue. Despite applying quite a bit, it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film. The surface feels matte, but there's no deep dryness.

Since I haven't used it after any skin treatments yet, I can't say for certain how effective it is for true skin regeneration.

The Rigen S Cream is easy to apply and feels comfortable on the skin, making it suitable for consistent daily skincare routines. I even tried it on days when my skin felt dry and flaky, and I was really satisfied with how it noticeably improved my skin's hydration and firmness after application compared to before!

It seems like it could also be great for repairing a damaged skin barrier. I'd love to try it after any future dermatological treatments too!
