I apply it and also use a lip balm on top.

The ingredients are a bit disappointing... the formula isn't as moisturizing as I'd like. But the color is similar to my lip color, which I really like.

I was hesitant to purchase the oat product, worried that I might have to return it because the color didn't suit me at all.
However, the color is actually incredibly natural and beautiful, just like the original red I was hoping for.

It seems like a good alternative to use when you don't want your makeup to look too obvious, whether you're a man or a woman, maybe like a tinted lip balm.
It's not overly vibrant or intense, but calm and neutral. The coverage applies evenly better than a lip balm, lasts longer, and has a decent amount of moisture, so it seems just right.

When I first applied it, the color was way too warm and I was surprised, but after a few more layers, a rosy tone came through..! I've been using a lot of cool-toned things lately, so it felt a bit jarring at first, and when I applied it, the color was more of a 'lukewarm rose' kind of tone.

I looked at the other colors in the Milky Dew Balm line and wanted to try them, but it seems like there aren't any cool-toned shades that would work for me. Maybe shade 4 or 5 would be a tolerable lukewarm-ish tone for cool-toned folks.
Overall, the colors in this line seem to lean more orange-y, which is a bummer. Please give us more diverse color options 🥺🥺 I trust Holika Holika...

The texture is really amazing!! When I first applied it, I was so surprised by the dewy, droplet-like feeling that seeped out. It applies so smoothly, even though my lips are really dry and awful!! The great thing is that it applies beautifully! I can just slap it on without even looking in the mirror, and it still looks great! No matter how much I think about it, the texture is amazing... I love it so much❣️

And compared to how smoothly it applies, the finish isn't sticky at all, and there's no transfer or smearing, which is great. After applying, the surface is a bit powdery, but my lips don't get overly dry and stay comfortably moisturized!

The user experience... the best.!!!!!!! I'm going to just slap this on without worrying about flaky lips in the fall and winter😆

 Patting and pressing the product onto the lips while applying, rather than just swiping it on, can help minimize the transfer and smudging. But you can also just apply it normally without any issues.

 The color... really, the color... where's the purple?

While you can get a pretty color by mixing it with other lipsticks, the fact that you have to use two products is a bit of a downside, and the warm feeling is a slight downside for me personally.

Looking at other reviews, there were also cases where it emphasized peeling. If your lip condition is not good, you'll need to take care of it.

And the moment you open the cap and apply it, the grapefruit scent is too strong. It doesn't linger after that, but if you don't like the refreshing scent, you'll need to think about it.

Lip condition: Lip color slightly darker, good condition with almost no peeling

It's a calm color mixed with rose and warm pink.
When I first used it, it had a lot of orange tones like the first picture, but as I continued to use it, the rose tone gradually became noticeable like the third picture.
Since I usually only use cool-toned lipsticks, it seemed relatively warmer.

When applied and removed, a low-chroma pink is left on the tissue. I'm sure I didn't see any purple.
Depending on each person's skin tone, the orange tone may be more pronounced or the pink tone may be more pronounced, so I've uploaded both the orange-toned and rose-toned photos!

As a trial reviewer, I didn't have the opportunity to test it, and I just relied on the swatch shots, which was a bit disappointing. I'm the type who doesn't really suit warm colors.

The lip swatch didn't feel that different from my face when I just looked at the temperature, and I felt it was almost the same as the Kurd swatch.

The swatch is quite good for a lip tint, so it's usable for both makeup and casual wear.
However, if you reapply, the color won't get deeper, but the amount will increase, so the transfer may increase, so be careful.
