This is like a beginner-friendly BB cream in foundation form. Anyone with oily skin would love it. It covers pores, redness, and evens out the complexion beautifully. It's matte, but if it pairs well with your skincare, you can experience a whole new world of long-lasting wear without excess oil. Plus, it doesn't cause blemishes. Every time I bought a base product before, if the tone was pretty, it wouldn't cover pores. If it covered pores, it would be thick. If it was moisturizing, it would be an oily mess. I always had to compromise on something and settle for the next best option. But now I've found my holy grail. On the Hwahae app, if there's even one red flag for allergens or ingredients to avoid for oily, dry, or combination skin, I'd get blemishes 90% of the time. Finding a foundation like that was like finding a needle in a haystack. Even if I found one, it would be too expensive... But with this foundation, my search is over. I'll be loyal to it forever. It's the most perfect foundation I've ever used. I want to bow to whoever created this. It deserves 10 stars - it's absolutely stellar!
The pump is a bit tricky to control the amount. But there's nothing disappointing about the product itself. Those with dry skin might find it extremely drying.
I have #21 warm-toned skin and wanted to buy Warm Ivory, but it was sold out so I got Pure Ivory. Reading various reviews, I was worried it might be too white or too rosy compared to Warm Ivory (I once used a pink-based cushion and looked too pale, so I've avoided pink bases since). But I think this would work well for those with a deep undertone who don't like overly yellow bases. It doesn't create a noticeable difference with my neck color, and when applied, it gives a light ivory color. For reference, I'm a Soft Autumn. The best skin finish and least shine came when I applied in this order: moisturizer - Tosowoong Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Cell Fusion C Laser Sunscreen - 3CE foundation (applied with a Skinfood wedge puff). Without the serum, there was some flaking (oily skin folks know it settles as oil rises) and it felt a bit dry to apply. But if you prep your skin to be in its best condition for makeup, you should be able to use this without issues. For cleansing, I use make p:rem Cleansing Oil followed by B.plane Green Bean pH-Balanced Foam Cleanser.
