First off, it's gentle and mild. I like that there's no fragrance, making it non-irritating. When rinsing off the foam, there's no residue left behind, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry - that's a big plus for me! Personally, I prefer fragrance-free products as they're less irritating. While this is unscented, you can still detect a slight smell from the natural ingredients. Those who are sensitive to such scents might find it a bit uncomfortable to use. Since it's a face and eye makeup cleanser, I'd recommend being extra gentle when using it around the eyes. Overall, it feels mild on the skin, but still seems to cleanse effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 11, 2021
The Hwahae Testers Review Skin type: Dry, Severely dehydrated ✓ I loved that there was no deep dryness after cleansing. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth without any residual discomfort. ✓ It seems perfect for daily use, even when you're not wearing makeup. ✓ After using it for a week, I noticed my face didn't dry out quickly, and it didn't irritate my blemish-prone skin at all, which was great. ! The cleansing effectiveness feels a bit lacking for a cleanser. (When I tried it on my face with BB cream, it wasn't enough with just one wash, so I had to do it twice and still felt unsatisfied, leading me to use another cleanser afterward.) ! Given this, the price point feels a bit disappointing. As I mentioned in the positives, I'd like to use it as a daily cleanser when I'm not wearing makeup, but the regular price is a bit steep for that purpose. Since it's described as an emulsion, it might be great for travel use. It's a suitable cleansing foam to use while showering. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 11, 2021
Skin type: Mildly dry but oily due to mask-wearing. Prone to small bumps and super sensitive skin. Mainly using sunscreen for daily commute. Pre-use evening cleansing routine: Bioderma micellar water + cleansing foam (found the water drying and cotton pads irritating). Texture - The best part is the texture. It's a gel type, not heavy, with a hydrating moisturizer feel. Recommended for those who dislike oil or cleansing emulsion cream textures, and find micellar water too drying. The gel doesn't run and feels great to use. Scent - Fragrance-free, so no irritation. Cleansing effectiveness - While I usually use oil for double cleansing makeup, this product's cleansing power is slightly less but sufficient for second cleansing or removing sunscreen. Unlike micellar water that always irritates my eyes, this product doesn't sting at all! Overall - Feels like a hydrating moisturizer. Fragrance-free and gentle. Light, non-heavy texture. Highly recommended for light makeup or sunscreen removal. No need for cotton pads! I plan to repurchase this with my own money when it runs out, but I hope it comes in a pump bottle next time! After washing your hands, apply it gently to dry skin using rolling motions, then rinse with water and follow up with a cleansing foam for a refreshing clean. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 9, 2021
I have combination dehydrated skin with a bit of redness. I occasionally get inflammatory acne and often struggle with small bumps and dead skin cells! While using this product, I didn't experience any blemishes! I liked that the texture was moisturizing and soft, leaving my skin feeling hydrated rather than dry. First off, I don't think its cleansing effectiveness is very good. As you can see in the photo, I tested its ability to remove foundation, lipstick, pen eyeliner, and eyebrow makeup. While it completely removed the eyebrow product, it didn't fully clean off the foundation and lipstick, and the eyeliner barely budged! If you're buying it as a second-step cleanser, it might be okay, but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary cleanser. Also, when I massaged it like a cleansing oil, I felt a tingling sensation on my face, so I had to quickly rub and rinse it off. This might work well as a second-step cleanser if you want a fresher finish after using a cleansing oil or cleansing balm. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 9, 2021
1. Gentle and soft on the skin. When I first used this product, I was surprised by how incredibly soft and gentle it was! I usually struggle with cleansing products that make my cheeks feel too tight and squeaky clean, which is uncomfortable (I have combination skin!). 2. Great ingredients. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and this product didn't cause any blemishes at all. Maybe it's because it's vegan? I loved that I could cleanse my skin gently without any irritation! 3. Not drying. It's fantastic that my skin doesn't feel dry after cleansing! My cheeks and forehead are always a mess due to dryness, but this product actually left my skin feeling soft and comfortable. 1. Cleansing effectiveness Since it's such a gentle product, its cleansing power isn't exceptionally strong. It removes CC cream and brightening moisturizer well enough, but it doesn't show perfect cleansing effectiveness for eye makeup, which was a bit disappointing. This cleanser would be great for morning cleansing or when you're wearing light makeup like eyebrow products or sunscreen. You can use it gently without worry! For eye makeup removal, try massaging with an emulsion first, then gently wipe with a cotton pad for better results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2021
The most satisfying aspect was being able to cleanse without irritation due to its incredibly gentle and moisturizing nature. Recently, my skin has been super sensitive, and when I removed makeup with cleansing oil, I'd get one or two blemishes the next day. However, after using this product, I didn't experience any breakouts or redness. As someone who usually only uses oil for cleansing, I was really pleased with how refreshing the finish felt :) I'd recommend this to those with dry skin, super sensitive skin, or oily skin types who are hesitant about using oils! While it doesn't exactly struggle with cleansing, it does feel like it takes longer to cleanse compared to using an oil. Also, while it removes daily makeup well without needing a separate lip and eye remover, I get the feeling you might need to use a remover on days when you've applied heavier makeup...? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 5, 2021
With the changing seasons, I found that even using ampoules and moisturizers after toner wasn't enough to combat dryness and blemishes. However, since I started using Eden Mineral Cleansing Emulsion, my skin feels much less dry. Its gentle, hydrating formula has also significantly reduced my blemishes. Due to its mild ingredients, the cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, so I end up using quite a lot of product. Considering this, the price seems a bit high. Also, there's a slightly odd, sour smell that I'm not fond of. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 4, 2021
First and foremost, I was really impressed by the gentle and high-quality ingredients! My skin tends to get quite red the next day if I use products that don't agree with it, but I didn't experience any of that with this one! It cleansed without any irritation. I've only ever used foam cleansers before, so this emulsion-type was new to me. I was a bit surprised when it didn't lather up at first! But unlike foam cleansers that can feel increasingly drying as you use them, this product remained moisturizing and gentle from start to finish. While it's gentle, I feel like its cleansing effectiveness might be slightly lower. I think it's best suited for morning cleansing or as a second step in a double cleanse routine!
