It cleanses so thoroughly that you can be done with just the first cleansing step. I'm not just saying it's good - it's amazingly effective. Zero residue left behind! I just applied the gel directly to my face, rolled it around a few times with my hands, rinsed it off with lukewarm water, worked up a lather, and then rinsed again. One pump was enough, and even when I lathered it up in my hands and then cleansed, the effect was the same. I've just gotten into the habit of doing it this way.
ConsPersonally, I don't find the design very pretty. It has a disinfectant-like smell. :(
TipAdditional edit: 👍 Holy Grail product

It has a soft, gel-like cleansing feel. I first tested the cleansing power on my face, and everything except my mascara and eyebrow mascara was completely removed. However, when I tried removing long-wear matte foundation and hydrating foundation on my wrist, the matte foundation didn't come off the creases. The hydrating foundation was completely removed. If you only use sunscreen, blush, eyeshadow, hydrating foundation, and eyebrow products, this product should be sufficient for cleansing!
ConsThe more I smelled it, the more it seemed to have a strange, pungent fragrance. It was quite strong, so that's also why I didn't reach for it as often. But I think I'll still use it occasionally on days when I've done a simple makeup look.

The cleansing power is excellent, and the feeling after cleansing is even better! The pump allows me to easily adjust the desired amount, and the clean design is also appealing.😊 The best part was that the tightness after cleansing gradually disappeared, and my skin texture improved with fewer occasional blemishes as I used it more! I would recommend this to those who often feel dryness after cleansing, as it is not irritating.
ConsPersonally, I felt the fragrance was a bit disappointing. It seemed to have a soapy fragrance, which was a bit of a letdown, but other than that, it was good.

I'm hurriedly posting the review that I should have posted by yesterday. Toro toro To get straight to the conclusion, I was really satisfied. The blackheads on my nose have faded~! It would be better if there were before and after photos, but I'm sorry that I didn't take a before photo. First of all, the texture is a gel texture, so it's a product that has complemented the annoying downside of oil cleansers, which is that they tend to drip. The usage was similar to an oil cleanser. I thought the gel texture would be more moisturizing, but it wasn't, so I used it with curiosity. After cleansing, it felt refreshing and there was no tightness, so the finish was also good. If you have a lot of trouble with blackheads, I'd like to recommend this to you~!
ConsThe scent was good at first, with a lemon scent, but the more I used it, the more it had a kind of medicinal smell, which was disappointing. The scent seems to be a matter of personal preference.

And it's abundant. Even though the ingredients are gentle, the foam usually doesn't come out as much, but this one has good foam and was definitely softer than solid cleansers. I'm glad it wasn't irritating. -It causes fewer breakouts. When I switch cleansers, I usually get pimples on my forehead right away, but this time I didn't get any and was able to use it continuously!! #Cleansing Power -I usually double cleanse with oil and foam, but during the time I used the Laneige Natural Deep Pore Cleanser, I only did a second cleanse with this. The result was that it cleaned well and there was no residue left when I patted my face dry. #Moisture -I have very dry skin, but there was no tightness after cleansing, which I really liked. This was the best part for me.
Cons#Fragrance -I don't prefer fragrances, but this one seemed too strong and artificial to me.. So this was the most disappointing part.
Tip-I noticed that Laneige has an oil in the same line. A friend of mine was using it, so I did a first cleanse with the Laneige Natural Deep Cleansing Oil and then a second cleanse with the foam, and it felt refreshing and non-drying.

These days my skin has been dry due to the changing seasons, but perhaps because of the coconut oil ingredient, I didn't need to apply lotion right after washing and still felt somewhat moisturized.
Cons# Fragrance - While others say it has a lemon scent, I felt it had a slightly medicinal smell that I disliked. It would be better if it had no fragrance at all. # Cleansing Power - As moisturizing as it is, the cleansing power is lacking. You'll likely need to use it as a first cleanse before applying sunscreen.

I don't have much specific skincare knowledge, so this review may not be very detailed or technical, but I'll share my personal experience using the product. 👉 This is a cleansing gel. It lathers up well. I thought it was a cleansing foam, but it's actually a gel type. 👉 The pump packaging is hygienic and convenient. 👉 It's not irritating and feels gentle. 👉 It's a pretty standard, no-frills product that's easy to use. Rather than having any standout benefits, it's just a decent, unremarkable product that doesn't have any major downsides.
Cons🤔 Personally, I didn't like the fragrance. I felt it had a synthetic smell, but the reviews say it's a herb or lemon scent. 🤔 It doesn't have a strong cleansing power, so it feels gentle.

You just need to pump it once without water, massage it in, then add water to create a lather, and rinse it off. No need for a second cleansing step, which is very convenient. The texture is between a toner and an oil, not too thick, so it's gentle and smooth when massaging. It lathers up nicely like a regular cleansing foam when you add water. The finish is not greasy, but refreshing. I tend to get breakouts when using oil cleansers due to my combination-dry skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts when using the Laneige Gel Cleanser.
ConsWhile others said the lemon scent was nice, I absolutely hate it. The artificial fragrance is torture every time I cleanse. I have to hold my breath while cleansing. Personally, I find the strange herbal and ointment-like scent really unpleasant. It's also not enough for pore management. If you're looking to manage your pores, you'd be better off with an oil cleanser. At 31,000 won, the price-to-performance ratio doesn't seem great. It might be better to buy it on sale.
TipIf your skin isn't extremely dry or sensitive, I think most people will enjoy using this. I only use it in the evenings, and it might be a bit of a waste to use it in the mornings as well, given the price point. If you wear heavy makeup, an eye makeup remover would be good to use first, as rubbing too much can irritate the sensitive eye and lip area. You can see in the photo that the area got a bit red from trying to remove the makeup. Overall, the cleansing power is great, the lack of a second cleansing step is convenient, and it didn't cause any breakouts, so I'd consider repurchasing once I finish this one. If the price was a bit lower and the fragrance was better, it would be perfect.

The slightly thick, sticky texture and pale yellow color make me think of shampoo a bit. ✔️Fragrance: There's a subtle citrus note, but it mostly has a medicinal, ointment-like scent. It's not a particularly pleasant fragrance, but I think it's better than having artificial fragrances. Those with fragrance sensitivity may find it difficult to get used to. ✔️Usage & Cleansing Performance: When applied and massaged onto the face, it produces a very fine, bubbly lather that feels like it's deeply cleansing the pores. With mostly light makeup like tinted cushions these days, I didn't feel the need for a second cleanse, as it thoroughly cleaned my T-zone and cheeks without any residue. The toner pad I used for confirmation also showed no leftover residue. I haven't tested the cleansing performance on the eyes and lips, as I already use a dedicated makeup remover there, but I'll update on any eye irritation after further use. ✔️Finish: As a sensitive skin type, I prefer a slightly moisturizing, smooth finish over a tight, squeaky-clean one. This product has a nice, smooth, moisturized feel, better than other cleansing gels I've used. (It's less moisturizing than the cleansing milk I was using before, but that's to be expected with the product type difference, so those used to milks should keep that in mind.)
Cons✔️Downsides: Personally, the citrus fragrance is very subtle, while the ointment-like scent is quite strong. If that's the case, I wonder if the inclusion of limonene or linalool (potential allergens) was really necessary. I mean, they're listed at the very end of the ingredients, so the formulators likely used only a tiny amount, but still, I can't help but feel it would have been better to forgo the fragrance altogether if the end result is just a faint medicinal smell.
Tip✔️Personal Evaluation: Most cleansing products use ingredients like citric acid or lactic acid to adjust the pH to be slightly acidic, but this product is acid-free, which I found interesting. After use, there was a slight tingling sensation, but I haven't experienced any breakouts, bumps, or unexplained allergic reactions so far, so I'd like to continue using it. I've developed a tendency to only look for mildly acidic, gentle cleansers and skincare products due to my blemish-prone skin, and have been using a cleansing milk for a long time. But the citric acid in that may have been the culprit (still can't pinpoint the cause) for the stubborn bumps on my cheeks, so I'm eager to test this product further and provide an update. Overall, I'm satisfied with the ingredients and cleansing performance of this product.
