As someone who dislikes excessive white cast, this sunscreen offers a relatively natural brightening effect among the many mineral sunscreens out there. With my shade 23 skin, an intense white cast would be unbearable, but this one is somewhat tolerable. For a mineral sunscreen with white cast, the hydration is surprisingly decent. It doesn't give that tight, cracking feeling on the face. The adherence to the skin is excellent - it doesn't float or clump, and applies evenly. What I love most is that when I layer other sunscreens, creams, or emulsions on top, it blends seamlessly without becoming noticeable. Whether I add chemical sunscreens, sunsticks, creams, or emulsions mid-day, it works well.
There's still a bit of white cast, so I'm deducting one star. However, it might be perfect for those with shade 21 skin. It's also on the pricier side compared to other sunscreens available on Hwahae.
Choose between chemical and mineral sunscreens based on the situation, or mix and match for different areas of your face.
