Even if you just apply this and go out, it gives the effect of having light makeup on!
ConsWhen used in hot countries or on sweaty days, it can make your face a bit itchy. This is similar to other sunscreens, which is disappointing as it shares this drawback with others.

Maybe the price is okay? Other sunscreens from Make P:rem are way better. I've given their other products 5 stars, but this one...
ConsThe white cast is way too severe, and it gets super drying over time. Plus, it feels tight around the eyes. Is it normal that it wipes off easily with a tissue when I clean my mouth? Yet it's hard to wash off completely, even with cleansing milk. I'm really disappointed - it's just another typical, run-of-the-mill mineral sunscreen. What's worse, it makes my skin itchy later on, probably because it's so drying.

ConsHowever, that was a big misconception. After a short while, it starts to separate and settle into lines, making your skin look dirty (even with good skin). It severely emphasizes dead skin cells, and it's itchy and tight. I got small bumps and blemishes from it.

I have a long history with these products. As a student, when BB creams were banned at school, I collected all sorts of brightening moisturizers. I've tried almost every popular one on the market. Even after trying several 'foundation-free' brightening moisturizers recommended during the pandemic, none suited my skin. But this product matches my light 21 shade foundation perfectly. It makes my face incredibly fair and maintains it all day long. It brightens so much that you might question if it's really just a brightening moisturizer. If you're looking for a more natural brightening effect, you'll need to adjust the amount carefully. Application: This is absolutely not a stiff brightening moisturizer that pills or flakes. You know how some leave white residue, right? Or how they flake off by afternoon, making touch-ups awkward? Well, this Make P:rem one barely leaves any white residue. Of course, you might see some flaking if you have blemishes, but that happens with cushions and BB creams too. Blemishes: Most importantly, it rarely causes blemishes! The reason I've had to throw away most brightening moisturizers before even using 1/10 of the product is because they'd make my skin sensitive and cause breakouts the next day. But Make P:rem seems to cause even fewer blemishes than my gentlest cushion. Oh, but I should mention that I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone, so I avoid applying it there. When I did apply it to my T-zone on the first day, my skin reacted badly. You might want to test it on different areas yourself! I use a dewy cushion on my T-zone, and it blends seamlessly... I'm impressed!
ConsSkin Irritation: While it doesn't cause blemishes, my skin feels irritated at night. After cleansing, my skin feels heated and sensitive. However, it's fine by the next morning. Because of this, I don't use this brightening moisturizer every day. It's really disappointing. Itchiness: Since my T-zone is oily, when I applied it there, it became incredibly itchy in the afternoon. My skin turned very red and sensitive. So from then on, I've avoided applying it to my T-zone. Honestly, these are the only downsides. I still plan to repurchase!
TipHighly recommended for students dealing with makeup restrictions at school. Seriously... why wasn't Make P:rem brightening moisturizer around when I was in school? Also great for quick errands on weekdays or for workouts. However, if you have a lot of blemishes, it might actually highlight them. Still, since it has better ingredients than cushions, students should opt for this. You don't need to apply it all over. Since it's so brightening, it blends well with cushions, so I recommend partial application. This brightening moisturizer works great as a makeup base too! On days I used it as a base, I received many compliments. My skin looked incredibly fair and seemed to have a blurred effect!

ConsI clicked on the 1-star reviews to see if anyone had the same side effects as me, and I was shocked to find people with identical symptoms... There's some tree extract in it, and as someone with a birch allergy, I wonder if that's related. My eyes have been bloodshot for 12 hours now and it's not going away. My skin is itchy, stinging, and has turned red...

ConsI used up one tube without issues, but when I tried it again after my skin barrier was damaged, my forehead became itchy... Every time I used this product, my forehead would tingle and itch. Those with super sensitive skin should carefully check the ingredients before purchasing

Being a mineral sunscreen, it's gentle on the skin with minimal irritation.
ConsIt's quite drying and doesn't absorb well, sitting on top of the skin. Sometimes it even makes my skin feel itchy.

The high SPF is great, and in these mask-wearing times, it's perfect for achieving a fair complexion even without makeup - just this sunscreen is enough!
ConsAs time passes, it tends to get quite oily. I'm not sure if it's because I have super sensitive skin, but it seems to make me a bit itchy.

When first applied, there's a noticeable white cast, but as time passes, it gradually fades and naturally brightens your complexion! 2. Once absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling fresh and matte - seems perfect for those with oily skin.
Cons1. It's EXTREMELY drying!!! For combination dehydrated skin, this sunscreen is unbearably drying! As time goes on, you can feel your skin cracking. 2. It stings the skin and irritates the eyes. Even without particularly sensitive skin, on days when my skin isn't at its best, it tends to sting a bit. Also, if you accidentally rub your eyes with sunscreen-covered hands, they'll be red all day. Be careful! 3. You need to apply it meticulously. Due to the significant white cast and not-so-great absorption, you absolutely must check in the mirror after application! 4. It causes flaking! While my skin is on the dry side, this makes my skin flake white, almost as if my makeup is lifting.
TipStrongly discouraged for anyone with even slightly dry skin!!! The dryness is unbearable. I regret buying the 1+1 deal without testing it first, just because it was labeled as a top seller on Get It Beauty. Still, it might work okay for summer, so I'll hang onto it until then. But it's absolutely not suitable for winter use!
