I was satisfied with the original Bio-Oil product, so I decided to try this vegan version as well. It seemed to balance the oil and moisture in my skin, so I gave it a shot. In the end, I ended up using it as a body oil. While it's supposed to be fragrance-free, there's a distinct factory-like smell that I found disappointing. The original Bio-Oil product seems better in comparison. I didn't notice any immediate effects on my skin. It also takes quite a while to absorb, and I didn't really feel like it balanced my skin's oil and moisture levels as claimed. Due to dissatisfaction with the scent and effectiveness, I now mix it with a body emulsion when applying.

I thought hydration was the issue, so I slathered on moisturizers, but that only led to blemishes. Using this product made me realize the importance of proper moisturization. I first tried the Dry Skin Gel, and just applying it around my nose area quickly calmed the redness, eliminated dryness, and stopped the itching. I'll definitely keep purchasing this. For my skin type, I've found that bio-oil is absolutely essential! The Natural type has a distinct oil scent that might not be for everyone, but it doesn't bother me so I use it without issue. I also apply it to my neck area. My boyfriend's feet were severely cracked and peeling, so I mixed the emulsion oil with the gel and applied it. Absorbs well and has great moisturizing power. It applies smoothly and has gentle ingredients. Be cautious as it may occasionally cause blemishes. As a multi-purpose oil, it's incredibly versatile. I love how it applies lightly and feels refreshing on the skin. It absorbs well too, which is a big plus. While it's free from artificial fragrances, the natural scent of the ingredients comes through. My skin tends to be very dry both deep down and on the surface, but I hate feeling greasy. This product, despite being an oil, absorbs quickly and feels lightweight. It does a great job of combating dryness! I can't really think of any downsides... I'm still using it happily. Try mixing a couple of drops with your body emulsion or sunscreen. I'm extremely satisfied. While it leaves a slight residue on both face and body, overall it doesn't feel heavy or sticky, which I love. Considering I've been using it longer than expected, the quantity seems more than sufficient. There's nothing disappointing about the oil itself, but if I really had to nitpick, it's that some product remains on my hands and around the bottle opening when dispensing... I highly recommend using just a tiny amount. The great thing is you can apply it anywhere - on your skin, hair, or wherever you like. It's so versatile! It's free from harmful ingredients, affordable, and comes in a generous amount. I use it not just for facial hydration but also for massages. The plastic bottle is lightweight, making it convenient to carry around. While a dropper would have been more hygienic, I'm still satisfied with the current packaging.
