It feels a bit oily at first, but amazingly, it absorbs completely after a few minutes. I love how mild it is, which is why I repurchased!
ConsThe scent isn't great. It's an unfamiliar fragrance I've never encountered in an emulsion before. I don't usually mind cosmetic smells, but this one was a bit bothersome at first. As I continued using it, I felt it had more oil than hydration. While it doesn't leave a slippery surface, my skin still feels lacking in moisture. That's why I'm planning to buy a hydrating cream. I think using this after a moisturizer will help lock in the hydration.
TipI recommend applying it in small amounts, letting it absorb, and then reapplying. If you apply too much at once, it takes longer to absorb and the oily feeling lingers.

That's why I bought this...haha No blemishes Beautiful packaging
ConsScent It has a lingering, unpleasant smell. Bothersome every time I use it. Lack of hydration Feels more rich than hydrating. Experienced deep dryness. Absorbs poorly It leaves a white cast, so you need to work hard to make it absorb well.

It's also affordable and being a vegan product, those following a vegan lifestyle can use it without worry.
ConsUnfortunately, it clogs pores and causes blemishes. It's not a very hydrating cream, but rather rich in oils. If I only apply toner, emulsion, and hydrating serum before this, my skin feels tight.
TipI layer it like this: toner -> The Cera Hydra Booster -> Sidmool Moisturizing Cream, and then this product. The Hydra Booster is like a soothing gel, but if you don't have it, using an aloe soothing gel works perfectly!

Aloe, tea tree, and propolis work well, but honey, citrus extracts, and houttuynia cordata don't suit me (slight redness, but no severe reactions). Centella asiatica is neutral - neither good nor bad. Very sensitive to stickiness and oily finish, but otherwise my skin doesn't react badly. Can't use products like Physiogel. No acne, but prone to small bumps on butterfly zone and nose bridge. Dry skin, but not extremely so - more like moderately dry! Original review: Nov 2, 2021 Update: Daily consecutive use led to some blemishes on my cheeks, possibly clogging pores. While it's great for soothing, a week of daily use was too much for my oil-sensitive skin, even with balancing techniques mentioned below. Coconut oil might be the culprit. Still keeping the rating because... For those with cold sores who aren't sensitive to aloe - try this as a lip balm! I'd heard aloe was good for cold sores, but didn't realize how effective. When I feel run down or my immunity drops during season changes or winter, I apply this cream thickly to my lips and lip line before bed. Since starting in September until February, I haven't had a single cold sore outbreak, without any special immune care. I'm so happy! 👉Texture/Scent It's an emulsion-like cream with low viscosity. Love the hygienic tube packaging! Almost unscented, but there's a slight sour, saliva-like scent that might bother those very sensitive to smells. I only found it unpleasant when first opened, then got used to it. 👉Moisture/Oil ratio Feels like 10% moisture, 90% oil. More on the oiliness in the cons section! 👍Application/Absorption As mentioned, it applies smoothly like an emulsion or moisturizer. Absorbs faster than thicker creams. 👍Very gentle. Soothing effect. Improves redness Recently, my skin was sensitive after using an unsuitable cream. While this was a bit itchy due to the oil content, I felt no other irritation - it was gentle. Not as soothing as pure aloe gel, but effective on redness. With good ingredients overall, it seems suitable for sensitive skin if you tolerate aloe well. But be cautious if you're sensitive to functional ingredients! 👍Complexion improvement Like aloe gel, I noticed some complexion improvement. Even though it's not a whitening product, my skin looks brighter after sleeping. Aloin in aloe is said to help with whitening, so it's interesting to see clearer skin without ingredients like niacinamide. While it's marketed for elasticity and wrinkles, I saw more improvement in complexion and skin clarity. 👍Value for money Great value for a wrinkle-care product - 85ml for around 20,000 won. Since you only need a small amount, one tube should last all winter.
Cons✅Oiliness. Greasy finish. Itchiness When using just toner and this cream, the finish feels very oily (for someone sensitive to oil like me). My mom even comments on how shiny my face looks! Despite its light, hydrating appearance, it actually feels oilier than thicker creams, causing itchiness. (Still, it's not as oily as Physiogel cream.) Strangely, it feels both oily and lacking in moisture - I wake up feeling dry despite the oily finish. At first, I really disliked it. So why 4 stars? I found a simple solution. Not wanting to waste it and hoping to stick with a hygienic tube cream, I thought about boosting its hydration. I tried using it with Aromatica's aloe gel, and wow - they're a perfect match! It's like this cream was made to be used with aloe gel. Here's my routine: first hydrate with toner, then double layer the aloe gel, and before it fully absorbs, apply a small amount of this cream. This balances the moisture and oil perfectly, without greasiness. I wake up with plump, clear skin. Use it strictly as a moisture 'locking' cream as described - don't rely on it for hydration! I usually like applying thick cream in winter, but with this one, less is more. I deducted one star because the experience is drastically different without a complementary product beforehand. Some creams, like L*neige Cica Sleeping Mask, balance oil and moisture well on their own after toner. It's a bit disappointing that this one doesn't. Still, I'm satisfied with the tube packaging (good creams are often in jars... sigh) and plan to stick with it for a while!
TipUse it with aloe gel! Regular hydrating serums won't cut it. Our skin tends to produce oil when lacking moisture, so imagine adding more oil to already oily skin from this cream - it's chaos! To prevent this, over-hydrate your skin so it doesn't produce excess oil, then use a small amount of this cream to prevent surface dryness. That's the perfect balance.
