Today, I'm going to write an honest review about a powder I've recently tried! To be honest, I don't usually use powder often, but as winter passed and the weather got warmer, I noticed my skin getting oilier and my makeup breaking down easily. So, I decided to invest in a good powder! First, let's talk about the packaging. It's not too big or too small, making it perfect for carrying around. The lid closes tightly, so I don't have to worry about powder spilling in my bag. The puff inside is soft and dense, helping to apply the powder evenly on the skin. What I considered most important was the texture. Some powders can clump and make the skin look cakey or dull, but this product has incredibly fine particles. Just a light dusting leaves the skin feeling soft and matte. I loved how it controlled oil without making my face look heavy. The staying power was pretty good too! Usually, as time passes, oil resurfaces and makeup breaks down, but with this powder, there was noticeably less shine. Even when oil did come through, my makeup didn't break down in an unsightly way. It worked especially well when patted gently on oily areas like the nose and forehead. In summary, I'd recommend this if you're looking for a lightweight powder that controls shine without feeling heavy! The fine texture gives a clean skin finish, and it's good at oil control, so it might be particularly suitable for summer or those with oily skin. I think I'll continue using it regularly!
It might feel a bit drying for those with dry skin or in extremely dry weather. If you apply too much, it could make your skin look dry, so it's best to use small amounts lightly. Also, since it's a translucent powder, it doesn't offer much color correction. If you're looking for something to even out your complexion, you might be better off with a tinted powder.
