The absorbs well is decent. I don't like hand creams that are too runny or too firm, but this one is just right in between. The scent is absolutely lovely - totally my style. At first, I thought the design looked a bit old-fashioned, but the more I look at it, the prettier it becomes. When it's on sale, the price is quite reasonable, so I've been using it regularly. I'm currently using a L'Occitane one I received as a gift, and the scent is ever so slightly similar - just a tiny bit. The hydration is pretty good. My hands are extremely dry, so there probably isn't a product out there that can dramatically moisturize them to baby-soft levels. It's fine as long as it makes them temporarily smooth. I'd love to alternate between this and L'Occitane, but I don't have a habit of applying hand cream frequently... I can't even finish one tube in a year... I plan to buy it again once I use up all my current hand creams. Despite having 9 potentially allergenic ingredients and 4 caution ingredients, I didn't experience any allergic reactions. The scent is so nice that when I apply it before bed, I feel happy when I catch a whiff of it while tossing and turning. Even when I apply a lot, the initial scent isn't overwhelming when smelled up close before it dissipates a bit. I don't really have any complaints. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 3, 2022
The fragrance is absolutely delightful, and it spreads wonderfully the moment you apply it. As someone with dry skin, hand cream is a must for me, and this one has a rich consistency that doesn't drip. Just one application is enough to relieve dryness. It tends to leave a rich residue after use, so if you touch your hair frequently, it can get quite greasy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2021
Fragrance The most appealing aspect is the scent! Initially, I bought it because it ranked highest among Hwahae's Etude House products, but I'm even more satisfied as the fragrance exceeded my expectations. It has a subtle baby powder scent mixed with a familiar bathhouse aroma. I love how the scent is delicate yet feminine - perfect for daily use. Packaging The size is ideal for carrying around. It's compact enough to fit in your pocket, making it convenient for frequent application on-the-go. The opening is neither too small nor too large - just right for easy dispensing. Compared to other hand creams I've used, this one has a medium-sized opening that allows for a good amount of product to come out, making it more user-friendly. Hydration The moisturizing power is excellent! I originally intended to use it as a portable option, but it's so hydrating that I bought multiple. I use one for on-the-go and apply the other generously before bed like a hand mask. With consistent use, it prevents dry, cracked hands and leaves them incredibly soft. I fondly remember when a friend complimented me on having baby-soft hands thanks to regular hand cream use. Absorption The absorption rate is average. It doesn't absorb super quickly, which is expected given its high moisturizing properties. While it could work for those with oily skin, it's particularly suitable for dry skin types. There's a noticeable richness right after application, but it gradually absorbs over time. I didn't find it inconvenient for daily use. Blemishes As someone with super sensitive skin, I experienced no allergic reactions or blemishes after use. It seems to be a safe choice even for those with sensitive and delicate skin. Overall A winter daily essential! Definitely repurchasing! If I had to point out a downside, while it offers great value for money, it would be nice to have a larger size option available. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 19, 2021
Fragrance: The scent is absolutely delightful! Despite its budget-friendly price, it doesn't smell cheap at all. It has a powdery rich butter scent! It's not floral, but rather subtle and pleasant. The fragrance lasts quite a while if you don't wash your hands. Moisturizing power: The hydration is excellent! It seems perfect as a hand cream. Texture: If there were degrees of richness, I'd say this is medium. After applying, when you rub your hands together, it doesn't feel completely smooth. It's slightly oily but not too sticky. The ingredients list is a bit concerning. I've never really checked the ingredients in hand creams before, so I wasn't aware. I suppose fragrances are unavoidable in these products? But... I think I'll consider a hand cream with better ingredients next time. For those who aren't too concerned about ingredients, this should be fine to use! For those who enjoy subtle fragrances, especially in autumn and winter, and for perfume lovers - I highly recommend this! I think you'll be satisfied, as I'm that type of person myself! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2021
To be honest, my main reason for using hand cream is usually for the scent. I find wearing perfume a bit overwhelming, so I opt for hand creams with pleasant fragrances instead. I was introduced to this product by a friend and immediately purchased it. I was captivated by its fragrant floral scent when I first tried it, though it's a fairly familiar scent to most people. A bit of TMI, but when I first smelled this, it reminded me of the hamster I had as a child! The deodorizer we used for the hamster cage had a similar scent. I remember loving that smell back then, so finding this hand cream brought back fond memories. (My friend says it smells like the emulsion she used as a child) Plus, my mother, who has a sensitive nose and usually dislikes scented products, really loves this one. As for the most important aspect - the basic function of a hand cream - I found that it *softens the skin texture and provides a truly moisturizing feeling*. To be honest, with hand creams... unless it's a really exceptional product, they're all pretty decent. But I'll say it again, I use this one because I love the scent. Quick summary: • True to its name, it has a genuinely fragrant floral scent. • Moisturizing and softens the skin. • Buttery and creamy texture. Etude House team, if you're reading this review, please make this into a perfume! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, but I noticed some people dislike the toothpaste-like material and shape of the container. Just something to keep in mind. If I had to wish for one thing, it would be for the scent to last a bit longer. But then again, this isn't marketed as a perfume, so that's probably just me being greedy! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2021
Personally, I loved how rich this was since my hands are extremely dry. (A little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time) I appreciated that it includes 'anti-wrinkle benefits' at such an affordable price. The size is just right, making it super convenient to carry around. Highly recommended for those who want a long-lasting fragrance! I bought this online based on the rave reviews about its scent, but I was personally disappointed. The reason is that it smelled exactly like the tissues I use at home, and the fragrance lingered for quite a while, making me feel like I constantly had a tissue up my nose. However, fragrance preferences are subjective, so I think more people might actually enjoy it. It's quite thick and rich, so you only need to use a small amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 26, 2021
Fragrance: I bought this after seeing my friend use it because I loved the scent. It has a subtle floral aroma that's not overpowering, which I really appreciate. Absorption: It applies nicely, spreading smoothly on the skin. It might feel a bit rich for some. Hydration: The moisturizing power seems comparable to other hand creams. I like that it doesn't leave a greasy or slippery feeling after application. Plus, it's affordably priced! I'm a bit surprised by the ingredients list... While I didn't have any issues while using it, it was quite unexpected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 1, 2021
As someone whose hands tend to crack in winter, I gave this a try. It's wonderfully soft and has a lovely scent! There's nothing particularly bad about it, but since my hands tend to get sweaty, it feels quite slippery for me... haha - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2021
My hands are usually dry, so I use hand cream all year round. This one is affordable and has a nice shea butter scent. I'm already on my third tube! It's more moisturizing compared to other hand creams, and the size is perfect for carrying around. They also sell a larger size, so if you like the hand cream, I recommend trying the bigger size for body use too. The tube itself is squeeze-type, making it convenient to use. There's really nothing bad to say. If you're hesitant about buying L'Occitane hand cream because of the price, I recommend this one. The only thing is that the design could be a bit prettier. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 29, 2021
Fragrance: The scent is neither overpowering nor too strong, which I really appreciated. It has a luxurious, deep, yet soft aroma that I found very appealing. The fragrance also lasts for a long time. Texture: The texture is closer to a moisturizing cream rather than a lightweight hydrating lotion. In other words, it's a rich, thick type. I personally love thicker formulas, so this was perfect for me! Moisture: It's quite rich in oils. People with very dry hands will likely love this. Oiliness: This is both a pro and a con. I use my phone frequently, and when I touch it after applying this hand cream, it leaves fingerprints. So I usually wait until the oiliness subsides a bit before handling my devices.
