It absorbs quickly. Even if you apply it hastily, it absorbs well. I think it would be good to use before makeup. It stings a bit. I don't think it will address deep dryness. Hmm, it feels a bit tight on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2024
It absorbs well into the skin. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free, making it easy to use without any discomfort. I'm not sure if it contains alcohol, but it stings a bit when I apply it. I can't say the hydration is particularly impressive... The texture is surprisingly runny, which is a bit disconcerting. Make sure to apply it carefully to prevent it from dripping! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2022
I've been using this for two bottles now. Just to let you know, I used it from late winter to early spring. Products I used together: Jeju Tantan Toner, Soon Jung Centella Emulsion, Soon Jung Cica Balm (occasionally for areas needing soothing) My skin type: Enlarged pores with more closed comedones than inflammatory acne. I have both contact and seborrheic dermatitis. Redness tends to flare up due to mask-wearing. Lately, I've been getting some reddish bumps. How I use it: After toner, I apply 2 drops on the forehead, 1 each on both cheeks, 1 on the nose, and 1 on the chin. I tend to use a bit more to minimize skin irritation. Texture: Slippery and fluid consistency. The liquid itself is blue. One drop spreads enough to thinly cover one cheek. Overall pros: I've been using this well as a hydrating ampoule. After application, my face feels a bit firmer. It's like a light, tacky feeling? Since I don't typically rely on toners for hydration, I was looking for a separate hydrating ampoule, and this seems to replenish moisture quite well. The slippery texture means less friction-induced irritation when applying. Skin irritation: When my skin is healthy, it feels pleasantly firm and absorbs well after a short while. However, when my skin is in poor condition (like when it's flared up), it stings and feels tight upon application. I experienced stinging and tightness when I first started using it too. While it makes my face feel a bit firmer, and absorption is quick, there's a period where my face feels tight. If I pat it to encourage absorption, it feels like repeatedly sticking and peeling off a strong piece of scotch tape, which increases irritation. However, if I wait until it's mostly absorbed and feels less tacky before applying emulsion, it's fine. Occasionally insufficient hydration: Sometimes my nose gets itchy. When my face heats up for some reason, it seems like the lightweight formula doesn't provide enough hydration. This includes when I've applied a drying sunscreen. If you have dry skin, I recommend applying an additional moisturizer. I recommend this for those with oily skin who want to apply a 'light' layer of hydration between toner and emulsion in their morning routine. I bought two bottles for around 17,000 won during a Hwahae event.
