It was pricey, so I tried switching to a different cleansing foam, but my skin acted up again. I realized using this Sabaviàn Face Powder was actually more cost-effective than frequent visits to dermatologists or aesthetic clinics. I've been using it exclusively for about 10 years now, and my skin has remained blemish-free throughout. Since it's a powder, it's crucial to keep it away from moisture - leaving it in the bathroom can cause it to clump up and become unusable. That's why I only buy the individually packaged version. It's so much more convenient for traveling too, and the single-use packets help me use just the right amount without waste. I highly recommend it!
ConsAs mentioned in the positives, you need to be careful with moisture since it's a powder. However, this issue can be easily solved by purchasing the individually packaged version (which costs the same as the regular one).

It removes makeup without irritation, brightens the skin, and I always come back to it even after trying others.
ConsWhile being a powder is great, it's also a downside. It tends to harden and clump, so you need to be careful about moisture and store it properly.
TipI recommend using the individually packaged version. Even though the jar contains more product, it's exposed to air and moisture, causing clumping. In the end, the single-use packets stay fresh longer and are more cost-effective.

I mainly get inflammatory, pus-filled blemishes rather than small bumps. My face and body are constantly covered in acne, acne scars, and redness. Of course, I have blackheads and whiteheads too. I've never seen anyone with worse skin than mine in my life. But this product is truly gentle and doesn't cause any deep dryness.
ConsI bought this at a high price from Naver Shopping, expecting it to be good for acne based on many reviews. However, it's like very fine flour. There's barely any feeling of cleansing, though it does foam. The powder dispenser hole is wide open, like a mustard container in a noodle restaurant. The particles are so fine that you need to use a lot to wash properly.
TipI wasted my money... I'd only recommend this if you don't have severe acne, have stable hormones (?), and just need a gentle product that doesn't cause deep dryness. It's for those lucky people with good skin that just needs a mild cleanser.

ConsApart from the price and the fact that it's a powder cleanser that lathers, there's not much else to say.

For someone with super sensitive skin, it's rare to find a product this gentle. I've minimized both my makeup and skincare routine, always seeking the mildest options, and this product fits the bill perfectly. Since I rarely wear makeup, I usually just cleanse with water. When I do use makeup, I use a small amount of this product to double cleanse. One wash isn't quite enough, but I was worried two full washes might irritate my skin. Using a tiny amount twice seems to work well. To be honest, I can't say I've noticed any brightening effects. However, it's non-irritating, and with long-term use, my skin has significantly improved and become healthier. I'll definitely continue using this product in the future.
ConsAs others have mentioned, since it's a powder formula, make sure to dissolve it thoroughly and lather it up to avoid irritation! The powder form can make it tricky to control the amount used. Over time, the powder can harden around the container's opening, and the contents can clump together... but this doesn't significantly affect its use. It's a bit pricey, but since I've found a product that works for me, I don't mind the cost.
TipUse an intriguing ratio of about 75% powder to 25% water... Gently and quickly rub it in your palms. The second photo is from a year ago. I had severe contact dermatitis. While results may vary, I feel this product has really helped my sensitive skin with a compromised barrier.

It cleanses thoroughly and removes makeup effectively.
ConsBeing a powder formula, it's quite inconvenient to use. While you might get used to it over time, it's still much less convenient compared to other cleansing products available on the market.
TipI found that using slightly more than the recommended amount to create a richer lather gave me a better cleansing experience.

I've been using it religiously since my blemishes have significantly reduced. Even though it's pricey, I love how silky smooth my skin feels after cleansing. Being a powder cleanser, it seems to exfoliate dead skin cells like an enzyme powder and is effective in removing excess sebum - this is something I've noticed with consistent use. When my skin texture is rough or I have a lot of breakouts, I often use it as a foam mask while cleansing, which leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft.
ConsThis product is sold in two versions: individual sachets of 30 and a jar of loose powder. The individual sachets run out quickly as there are only 30, and sometimes there's too much powder in one sachet to use at once, which feels wasteful. The jar version is fine at first, but over time, moisture gets in and the powder clumps together. So later on, you have to tap the jar vigorously to break up the clumps before use.
TipIf you use it as a foam mask, your skin will become even softer. I plan to continue using this product in the future.

It effectively removes dead skin cells without causing irritation.
ConsBeing a powder type, it can be a bit inconvenient to use in the bathroom where it's inevitably exposed to moisture. The container opening tends to get messy, which can be a bit of a hassle.
TipFor evening cleansing, I'd recommend lathering up twice to ensure a thorough cleanse and really feel the effectiveness of its cleansing power.

I used to have combination dehydrated skin, but recently it's become more balanced. I always have blemishes on my cheeks. My skin is super sensitive, so even the slightest mismatch can cause breakouts. The ingredients that don't work for me are stearic acid, natural oils, and shea butter. I discovered the brand Cavabian through their Sun Powder Emulsion and learned they also run skincare clinics! After constantly getting acne extractions at dermatology clinics (despite carefully choosing products and avoiding incompatible ingredients, I still struggle with acne), I decided to try Cavabian's skincare clinic due to the high costs of prescriptions and medications. A little tip! 👑 - You can check if there's a Cavabian skincare clinic near you on their website http://cavabienshop.co.kr/ - You can also purchase Cavabian products at their skincare locations. Personally, I recommend buying from the store rather than the main website, as the clinic directors often provide more samples. - Some locations even offer shipping for just one product! (I used the Gangnam-gu Office branch) I used to do a 3-step cleansing routine, but the clinic director advised it was excessive, so I tried the Face Powder. Now I only use eye makeup remover for my eyes and the Face Powder for the rest of my makeup and residue! However, if you wear heavy makeup, I recommend double cleansing with the Face Powder. These days, I only use Cavabian's Sun Powder Emulsion and concealer for my base makeup, so it's not too heavy, but I still double cleanse. When you first apply the Face Powder foam on top of makeup, you'll notice the foam quickly disappears. After rinsing off the first layer, apply a second layer of foam - this time it will maintain its shape longer. I leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then gently massage my T-zone (especially around the nose) before rinsing. I can visibly see improvements in my skin texture! My skin used to be prone to redness, and my cheeks were uneven due to acne scars, but I've noticed gradual improvements since using the Face Powder! It's great to create a thick foam with minimal water, apply it like a foam mask, wait about 3 minutes, and then rinse off. I found that simply rinsing works better than rubbing while washing. If you're worried about cleansing effectiveness, it's better to double cleanse with the Face Powder! Many people say that cleanser ingredients don't matter since you wash them off, but as someone who has experienced skin issues from cleansers, I believe cleanser ingredients are just as important as leave-on products. This one isn't irritating even with double cleansing (it doesn't sting your eyes during foam masking because it's free of surfactants!), and if you use it as a foam mask, it's even gentler on your skin, reducing potential irritation :)
ConsOne of the ingredients is talc! I contacted Cavabian, and they said it's asbestos-free talc. Since it's a powder formula, and I use the individually packaged version, there's inevitably some powder that becomes airborne when I first open it (when I tear open the packet). I can't guarantee that this powder doesn't enter my respiratory system, so the presence of talc makes me a bit uneasy. (But I'll probably keep using it because it's so good 😂) Although they confirmed it's asbestos-free talc, I wish they would clearly state that it's certified as such. The powder dispersing when opening the packet is expected, but it's expensive... my heart aches a little each time I see the powder fly away. While it's a formula that produces good foam, at first it wasn't easy to create 'good' foam. It felt like I was using too much product, and given that it's not cheap, I felt like I was wasting the Face Powder due to my lack of skill. Personally, I like to use a brush to create a thick foam and then do a foam mask. I put an appropriate amount of Face Powder in my hand, add just a drop or two of water, and work it with the brush. If it feels too dry, I gradually add small amounts of water to the brush to create new foam! It's sensitive to moisture. When I open one packet, it usually lasts for two days of morning and evening cleansing, but even when stored in a sealed container in the bathroom, it tends to get a bit damp by the second evening. If it's like this with the individual packets, I imagine you'd need to only bring the full-size product into the bathroom when you're about to use it.
TipFoam net vs. Brush I tried using a foam net to create foam, but whether due to my technique or not, it didn't work well for me! I found using a brush more effective! Put a small amount of Face Powder in your palm and use the brush to make circular motions - you'll quickly get a good foam!
