I usually go for Japanese brands like Anessa, Allie, and Biore as they offer good value and excellent UV protection. That's why I decided to give this Sekkisei a try too. It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing, making it perfect for winter use. Often after applying sunscreen, my skin gradually feels drier, especially around the eyes and mouth, which can be uncomfortable. However, this product maintains its hydration for quite a while, making it very comfortable to wear. Moreover, it's a hybrid sunscreen, leaning more towards chemical filters. While 100% chemical sunscreens can sometimes cause blemishes and feel heavy on the skin, this one includes some mineral ingredients, which I personally prefer. Being a hybrid, it doesn't brighten as much as a tone-up sunscreen, but it does slightly illuminate the skin after application. I like how it seems to even out my complexion. Best of all, it doesn't sting my eyes at all, which I absolutely love. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.
ConsThere's a slight tendency for pilling, so I recommend applying it in small amounts and layering gradually. There's a faint alcohol scent when applying. If you're sensitive to alcohol in skincare, you might want to patch test this product first.
