It noticeably refines skin texture. The consistency isn't too thick, so it absorbs well and feels like it's providing a light protective layer. It spreads easily with a lightweight feel, yet surprisingly has a satisfying bounce to it. The next day, when I apply makeup, it adheres beautifully and even if it fades, it does so gracefully. So, focusing on its strengths, I'd definitely recommend it!
ConsThe downside is the ingredients... While using it, there are some pore-clogging components that prevented small bumps or tiny blemishes, but I did develop one slightly... hard, pus-filled spot. Of course, I can't definitively blame this product as I haven't been sleeping well lately. However, I can't help but wonder if it might be due to those pore-clogging ingredients...

Usually, I avoid using creams in the morning due to their rich texture, fearing they might make my skin oily by afternoon. However, this one adheres to the skin beautifully. When used with a drying mineral sunscreen, it creates a perfect balance. What's particularly impressive is the finish - it leaves the skin slightly powdery and smooth, giving the impression of improved skin texture.
ConsWhile I didn't notice any additional blemishes, considering the smooth finish, there's a concern it might clog pores (which the ingredients list confirms). Those who are particularly worried about this should keep it in mind when purchasing.
TipThis product feels like it creates a protective barrier in the final step of your routine, preventing moisture loss. Naturally, it's best applied after thoroughly hydrating your skin.

I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin, so I'm always careful about checking ingredients since I'm prone to contact dermatitis. This product doesn't cause any reactions, probably due to its good formulation. It seems quite gentle. The absorbs well and feels smooth. It would be great for those with dry skin, and perfect for layering over essence in fall and winter.
ConsIt gives a slight coating feeling that might clog pores. I personally don't like that sensation, but others might find it smooth and pleasant. The cream isn't particularly lightweight, so as the weather gets warmer, it can feel a bit heavy. It might also cause pilling when applying makeup.
TipAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I apply it over essence, focusing on my cheeks, and wake up with nicely hydrated skin the next day. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend applying it all over your face.

Amount The 80mL jar is packed full of cream, so you get a lot of product. The texture is quite rich, so it should last a really long time. 2. Blemishes I usually avoid products with stearic acid, but there were hardly any reviews mentioning blemishes. I took a chance and thankfully, it didn't cause any breakouts. 3. Skin texture While this product won't miraculously transform your skin texture, I did notice my skin felt smoother to the touch, showing some improvement. 4. Hydration I typically use lightweight moisturizers, so switching to this richer cream really helped balance the oil and moisture in my dry cheek areas.
Cons1. Hygiene The jar packaging without a spatula is a bit concerning for hygiene. Since there's so much product and it'll last a while, I'm considering transferring small amounts to another container for use. 2. Ingredients While it's free from 20 harmful ingredients, it contains several pore-clogging components. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. As my T-zone is oily, I'm only applying it to my dry U-zone.
TipCheck out Kim Ki-soo's YouTube video on how to use this product based on your skin type. It's really helpful!

When I first applied it to the back of my hand, the texture felt rich and thick. However, as I spread it out, it seemed to absorb without any residue, leaving a coated feeling. This encouraged me to try it on my face! Here's my review after using it for about a week: -Usage Routine Since I have oily, acne-prone skin, I only applied it at night: Light exfoliation with AHA toner >> Oil-free moisturizer >> Cica balm >> Then I applied the Rhodiola cream only on my butterfly zone, around the eyes, and T-zone before sleeping. -Positive Points 1. The butterfly zone, in particular, was an area of concern due to acne scars from my youth, leaving it lacking elasticity, dry, and with enlarged pores. The next morning, I noticed that there wasn't excessive oil production, and my skin texture felt smoother. I was also pleased to see that my stretched-out pores seemed less noticeable. 2. After using it for about two days without any blemishes appearing, I started applying it around my nasolabial folds as well. So far, no acne has developed, so I plan to continue using it. It seems that because the product absorbs well without leaving excess oil on the surface, it doesn't disrupt the oil and moisture balance, preventing breakouts! A painful pimple that was just about to form around my nasolabial fold has also disappeared. Update>> I've been using it consistently for three months now, and it's amazing how this thick cream helps reduce cystic acne! Whenever I feel a painful pimple coming on, I apply a thick layer before bed, and it's incredible how it's gone down by the morning. I had to add this because it's so fascinating! Although it might be because it's not too hot yet, I think this cream could work well for oily skin too, as long as you exfoliate properly beforehand and control the amount you use.
Cons-Areas for Improvement 1. There's no spatula included, so you'll need to either get one separately or use your hands to scoop out the product. 2. It contains ingredients that may clog pores, so it's best to avoid using it on acne-prone areas like the chin and cheeks. Also, as summer approaches and sebum production increases, it might be too heavy for oily skin to use year-round.
TipAdditional tip: If you apply it all over your face like a sleeping pack and then put on a modeling mask, it absorbs really well. After removing the mask, there's no greasiness left - it's perfect!
