My skin type is extremely sensitive, extremely dry, and prone to breakouts. ✔Reasons for recommendation: 1. Vegan product 2. Completely free of harmful ingredients 3. Excellent cleansing power - Even when using waterproof products, it removed everything in one go 4. Sensitive/combination skin First of all, the package was so beautifully green that it was just too pretty... Since it's a vegan product without animal testing, I trusted it! The eye area cleansing didn't sting and there was no residual foreign matter! The pads are large so you can finish it all in one go! Originally, I used the Witch Factory orange cleansing oil, but the emulsification process was too much of a hassle, so I decided to try the Hwahae Trial Reviewer cleansing pads to use something more lightweight. My skin type is combination, very sensitive, acne-prone, and prone to breakouts (citrus-based products really don't agree with me, and products with an oily feel cause pimples to pop up). 📌Overall review: The ingredients are good, so it can be used safely on sensitive/acne-prone skin without irritation. The makeup removal power is [ high ]. The pads are thin but large, making them easy to use. However, a second thorough cleansing is essential, and the oil doesn't rinse off completely, leaving some residue behind...😢 Pros: 1. The thin pads cause minimal skin irritation☁️ The texture is similar to a slightly airy gauze, and the thin thickness means less irritation to the skin. It feels like gently wiping the skin with a very soft and delicate gauze. 2. Makeup is completely removed⚡️ Even when tested on my wrist, a single wipe was enough to completely remove the makeup. The same goes for facial makeup - it's removed effortlessly. The oil absorbed into the pad is sufficient, so you can gently wipe and the cleansing happens smoothly!!! Pros
First, I tried wiping off all my makeup, including mascara, eyeliner, and base makeup, with just one pad. The mascara and even the eyeliner tint were completely removed. I didn't feel any eye irritation or stinging, so I could really feel how gentle it is. I followed the instructions and wiped from the point makeup to the base makeup, and it removed everything smoothly and gently without any irritation. After washing my face with water, I didn't feel any tightness at all! It left my skin feeling soft and supple. I'd recommend this more for dry skin types rather than oily.
Cons
After washing my face with water and patting it dry, while it did leave a soft, smooth feeling, I as an oily-skinned person felt a slight oily residue remained, so I didn't feel completely cleansed. If you have oily skin, I'd recommend doing a second cleanse with a regular cleanser after using this, rather than just washing with water. When I wiped my face with a toner pad afterwards, I could still see a bit of residue on the pad, so it wasn't a 100% thorough cleanse, more like 99%.
