  Pros

  It instantly controls oiliness. I have oily skin, so my makeup usually breaks down quickly due to excess sebum, but this product controls oil and improves makeup longevity. There's a noticeable difference between days when I use it and when I don't. On days I use it, my makeup lasts 2-4 hours longer than usual. I'm currently using it with foundations that have poor staying power. Despite being in a plastic container, the spray power is excellent! The fine mist allows for even application without clumping.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about its effectiveness in concealing pores. Those with dry skin might find it drying, and if you have dry skin + winter, it could make your skin feel extremely parched. It doesn't beautifully correct makeup breakdown. It seems to focus solely on longevity and setting power.

  Tip

  If you have oily skin or your makeup tends to break down easily, try applying it multiple times: once before base makeup, once after base makeup, and once at the end. This method significantly improves staying power! Be cautious about using it with powder as it can be very drying. When using this fixer, try to minimize powder use!

  Pros

  Spray power: Everyone raves about the spray power from the start! It's way, way better than H* fixer (I haven't tried Urban D*, so can't compare). Scent: According to a friend who's used Urban D*, it feels like spraying plastic on your face. In comparison, everyone agrees Benefit's fragrance is much more pleasant. Performance: Makeup lasts longer and there's noticeably less transfer onto masks.

  Cons

  It's so drying that it feels like my face might crack! You really need to have a solid skincare routine or only use it on days when you need your makeup to be absolutely flawless. It's a case of the product working almost too well!

  Tip

  Here's a pro tip from a friend: Instead of using it after finishing your makeup, try spraying it on your makeup cushion. Alternatively, mist your face before applying foundation or cushion. This method dramatically increases longevity and gives you a pore-less finish.
