The subdued color with a hint of purple is truly captivating! It's versatile enough to be used as a base layer with a bolder lip color on top, or worn alone for a subtle look. Its matte and cool-toned nature makes it particularly suitable for fall and winter rather than spring or summer. The overly sweet scent typical of the Ink the Velvet series was a bit disappointing. Also, the formula tends to sit on top of the lips when layered, which was slightly underwhelming. Everything else about it is great though! To minimize the appearance of dead skin cells, it's best to apply a light layer of lip balm before using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 3, 2022
As someone with a winter cool skin tone, this shade was a perfect match for me. The application and staying power are so impressive, it's almost unnecessary to even mention them. I was a bit surprised that the color applied more intensely than it appeared in the packaging. However, with proper blending, it turns out beautifully. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2022
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I have to buy it every time I lose one. It fades too quickly, always leaving just a ring around the edges of my lips. When applied thinly and blended for a gradient effect, it looks truly stunning! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2021
Light undertone shade 23 I thought, 'Is this really any different from the other lip products lying around at home? Looks like I've made another excellent unnecessary purchase.' I was annoyed at myself... But the swatch on my hand versus how it looks on my lips is completely different! Even though I don't have particularly pale skin, it adheres perfectly... It's one of the few lip products that looks good on a bare face. I think this might become my new favorite, haha. I got it on sale for less than 10,000 won, and it feels like a real bargain. It doesn't look awkward at all even when applied as a full lip color. **Note: The photo only uses an Instagram filter, no lip filter. That's the true color payoff! The packaging design... While it's cute and signature Peripera style, it feels a bit childish and embarrassing... haha. Also, there's a slight oily or wet feeling on the surface before it fully sets into its velvet texture... It works even better if you blot your lips on a tissue a few times!
