It's disappointing that the effect wears off after a day. Also, the price feels high for the amount you get.

With consistent use, it feels like my underarm discoloration has brightened! Though the effect fades if you stop using it. Highly recommended if you want temporary brightening. It makes your skin look about one shade lighter than your natural tone, although it washes off after a day. Definitely notice brightening with regular use. Funny enough, even my private areas got brighter! The bottle is small, so it runs out quickly. Among brightening body washes, this product had the best results for me.

I found that applying a body emulsion after using this brightening moisturizer creates an even more natural finish without any patchiness.

Compared to my bare skin, it does feel a bit drier after application, but it's still manageable enough to use considering the benefits.

The scent is just right - not too strong or too weak! I used to find it such a hassle to apply brightening moisturizer up to my neck and then use a setting spray in the morning. But with this, I can apply it while showering, and it doesn't transfer. It's fantastic! I've tried other products, but this one settles the least in fine lines and wrinkles. Instead of making you look unnaturally pale, it evens skin tone in a natural way, which I really appreciate.

It didn't remove dead skin cells. The effect was more noticeable on my legs, perhaps due to dryness. You need to apply it carefully and evenly to avoid patchiness. I generously applied a large amount all at once, just to be safe. While there was no pilling around areas like the knees, it still looked dry. I applied a unused hydrating essence on my legs afterwards - it didn't significantly improve hydration but didn't cause any pilling either. You might need to pat on a water-based emulsion gently to avoid pilling. It's a bit of a hassle, but might be worth trying for special occasions!

It leaves a slightly dry feeling, so you might need to moisturize your body before and after application. Rather than making your skin look hydrated, it gives more of a dry, chalky appearance. Those with dry skin should be cautious.

I was so intrigued when I first heard about this product that I had to try it. My skin is naturally dark and tans easily, especially in summer, quickly becoming swarthy. While my body skin doesn't crack, it does look a bit dry. You can rinse it off with just water, and it washes away easily with moderate shower pressure without scrubbing. It really whitens your skin like a brightening moisturizer, visibly lightening the complexion. Despite having super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major reactions or breakouts after one use.

Since this is my first body brightening moisturizer, I don't want to be too harsh in my review. However, please keep in mind that there are probably better products out there.

Still, it might work decently for those who already have fairly light skin.

1. Since it doesn't contain sunscreen, I have to apply it separately. This causes the product to dissolve in the sunscreen's oils... You need to make sure it absorbs well and apply carefully.

2. Being an in-shower product, it's a bit inconvenient that you must apply it to wet skin. When I got lazy and didn't wet my skin first, it resulted in flaking dead skin cells and patchy application - it was a mess.

3. The white cast is intense. It does brighten the skin, but it's more like painting white over dark skin...? Rather than looking pretty, it's more like 'Oh, they applied something and it went terribly wrong!'

4. I tried it on my face too, but it's not suitable for facial use. The product itself is definitely drying... You really should only use it in the shower. (Even then it still flakes a bit, but less so.)
