  I was worried that the low pH cleanser might leave a slippery residue, but the formula actually left my skin feeling moisturized without any lingering slickness! I loved how gentle the cleansing process felt!

  Cons

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin, low pH cleansers work well for me, but those with oily skin might feel like it doesn't cleanse thoroughly enough! It's not a squeaky-clean type of formula. Also, since it's a cica cleansing foam, I expected it might have some effect on blemishes, but I didn't really notice any particular benefits in that regard...

While I've heard many good things about Witch's Pouch products, I've been switching to vegan-certified items lately. So when I won this gentle foam cleanser with houttuynia cordata extract (which I love) in a Hwahae event, I couldn't help but cheer! To cut to the chase, here's my honest review: It's gentle. The formula has a color between brown and khaki, with no fragrance, making it a truly worry-free foam cleanser. It's perfect for those who prefer a hydrated feeling rather than a squeaky-clean sensation after rinsing. After use, I experienced no irritation, breakouts, or other skin reactions. It's genuinely a mild product that's easy on the skin.

  As mentioned in the pros, this is recommended for those who want a moisturized finish rather than a squeaky-clean feel. However, it's not ideal for those with oily skin or those who prefer a super-clean sensation after rinsing. Also, it's not suitable for impatient people or night owls too tired for thorough cleansing. The foam doesn't lather well, unfortunately. How much product and how much rubbing does it take to get rich foam? Even after mixing it with a bit of water and rubbing it in my palms three or four times, I only get minimal foam - just enough to recognize it as a foam product. You need to use about a pinky-finger's worth of product and rub it slowly for about 15 times to create enough foam to apply to your face. When I used this foam after using a cleansing water for initial makeup removal, it was challenging to create rich foam on a face with some makeup residue. Another point: As someone suffering from mask-related blemishes and extremely dry winter skin, I found that while my skin felt moisturized immediately after cleansing, by the time I walked to my vanity, my face felt tight all over. Those with very dry skin need to moisturize right after cleansing.

  Tip

  If you're after rich foam, consider purchasing a related tool to use with this product. Using just your palms, you might find the foam production limited.

After using this product for a full week, I noticed my inflamed blemishes started to subside, and while the small bumps didn't completely disappear, my forehead looked slightly smoother! I think the best part was how gentle it felt, thanks to being vegan and low pH
