It didn't irritate my sensitive, dry, and atopic skin! Although it's a gel type, the formula transforms into an oil-like texture when applied. So, a small amount can cover the entire face! While it provides good hydration, it doesn't deeply quench the skin's thirst. However, it significantly enhances the skin's long-lasting moisture retention. (This doesn't mean it lacks hydration - it's definitely moisturizing.) For those with dry, dehydrated skin, lightly apply your regular skincare and then use this bio-oil gel sparingly and thinly on top. This will prevent dryness without feeling heavy. And although I know fragrance isn't ideal, the scent is quite pleasant when applied.
Cons
The oil-like texture means it can easily transfer to pillows, clothes, and the back of your hands. So, it's best to apply it thinly, and avoid touching your face after application.
