I really liked the Daiso The Lab Pad so much that I wanted to buy a lot of them, and I ended up purchasing them while searching for them. The Daiso pad seems to be used in the skincare routine to control internal dryness and make the skin firm, while the makeup-focused pad is used for radiance before makeup. 1. The pad itself is soft and non-irritating. 2. It does not cause any breakouts or blemishes on acne-prone or bumpy skin. 3. It helps control dryness and leaves the skin texture smooth and refined.
Cons
It seems like this won't be enough to address the dryness if you have a lot of it. I have an oily T-zone but dry cheeks, and it wasn't extremely dry, so it worked well for me.
Tip
I really find that my skin texture improves when I use this pad, upload to Hwahae, and apply a hyaluronic acid mask pack. Pad->mask pack->applying the moisturizer I have at home is unstoppable. I saw great effects in soothing my skin! After cleansing, it dries quickly. I lightly applied a clay mask-like pack to different areas and let it sit, then rinsed it off. I followed up with an ampoule and a serum, and that's it for my skincare routine? When it gets too dry, just lightly patting on a bit of lotion is more than enough to provide sufficient moisture and prevent redness and blemishes. I have very sensitive skin that tends to flush easily, but this gentle, hydrating formula doesn't irritate at all. In fact, I think this might become my new holy grail product.
Cons
If the pad material had a bit more stretch, that would be great. Trying to apply it as a mask is a bit messy, so being able to gently press or spread it on would be ideal.
Tip
I'm applying the 4 masks to my forehead, cheeks, and chin, moving them around every 5 minutes. The thick cotton pads don't dry out quickly, so I can keep them on for the full 15 minutes without them drying up!
