It's very moisturizing. My complexion becomes brighter (though it feels a bit unnatural since I have a darker skin tone). I guess I don't know my skin tone well yet. I bought this thinking I was dark, but it feels a bit too light on me. I must be darker than shade 23. I have dry skin with some milia acne. Formulation: It contains a solid foundation. It looks thick, but when applied to the face, it goes on smoothly and evenly. Coverage: Wow... this is incredible. There's a reason 'cover' appears twice in the name. It conceals redness, oh my goodness, the redness! It transforms my ruddy complexion into a smooth, flawless face. It even covers some texture! Adherence: It clings to the skin perfectly. Excellent! Recommended skin tone: It's perfect for those with 22-23 shades. I prefer my foundation to match my neck color exactly, so I chose a slightly darker shade, but I don't think it's a true 23. It runs a bit lighter, so I'd recommend it for neutral tones 22-23. Longevity: It lasts quite a while. It's summer break, so I apply makeup around lunchtime and exercise in the evening, but it holds up well until late at night (touch-ups make it even better!). Darkening: I didn't really notice much darkening. It does get a bit darker, but not significantly - just a tiny bit? I love everything about it so much that it might become my winter holy grail cushion, but it's so expensive! The only flaw is that it has no flaws. If only the price could come down a bit... Don't pat it from the start. Apply it by spreading first, then pat. (I bought it at a department store, and the staff said that's how it should be applied)
