I've been using this product for just under two weeks (please keep in mind that any blemishes might be due to that time of the month). Being alcohol-free, it's noticeably gentle on the skin. Even with my super sensitive skin, I could use it comfortably without any tingling or irritation. The hydration is quite impressive too. Its essence-like texture feels like it's deeply moisturizing the skin. It's especially soothing when applied after cleansing when the skin feels tight. On those lazy evenings when you can't be bothered to do a full routine, if you cleanse and apply this with your basic skincare before bed, you'll find your skin still feels hydrated until the next evening. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, and you can layer it multiple times without pilling or heaviness, making it great for daily use. The clean ingredient list is another plus, allowing you to use it without worrying about potential blemishes. To be honest, it doesn't do much for pore care. If you're expecting it to control sebum or minimize pores, you might be disappointed. While it's generally mild and inoffensive, it lacks a standout feature. It's missing that "wow" factor that really makes an impression. Those with oily or combination skin might find it a bit heavy during the summer months. Try using it as a mini-mask by saturating a cotton pad and applying it to your face. It's great for calming and hydrating the skin, especially on days when your skin feels hot. I also recommend layering it thinly multiple times. It really helps to deeply hydrate the skin, which is great for preventing makeup from flaking off when applied beforehand. Using this product before applying potentially irritating products (like vitamin C or exfoliants) can help create a protective barrier, making your skin feel more comfortable. (I've personally tried this with an exfoliant.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2024
Skin type: Acne-prone dry skin Pros: 1. Completely fragrance-free. I'm extremely sensitive to scents, and unlike other toners on the market that claim to be unscented but still have unavoidable alcohol or glycerin smells, this product is truly fragrance-free, which I love. 2. The silky texture is perfect for dry skin in winter. 3. The generous amount makes it ideal for using as a daily mask routine. 4. As someone with super sensitive skin, I found this product to be incredibly gentle. 5. The sleek exterior and transparent bottle allow for easy visual tracking of remaining product. I had to stop using it because blemishes appeared after application. While not exactly a con, I don't think my skin type could handle this in summer. The somewhat hydrating, silky formula seems more suitable for dry skin during seasonal changes. Additionally, I didn't notice any particular effects after application. Being such a gentle toner, it likely doesn't offer functional benefits like brightening or pore minimizing. However, it seems good for sensitive skin to use without worry during transitional seasons. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 27, 2024
▪️Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (dry inside, normal outside) with oily T-zone and chin ▪️Scent: A subtle coconut-like fragrance lingers. It's quite mild overall. ▪️Texture: When shaken, the product appears to have a moderate viscosity. Initially, it has a runny consistency when dispensed, but upon application, it transforms into a water-like texture, perhaps due to body heat? This makes it easy to spread. It applies with a moisturizing feel, finishing with a fresh sensation while providing lightweight hydration. ▪️Special notes: It seems to address deep dryness effectively. I apply it in the order of toner, ampoule, and cream, and I don't experience any tightness. Even when I only apply this after cleansing and use a hair dryer, there's no dryness. I used to do a toner pack while drying my hair and then follow with a modeling mask, but with this, I can simply apply it generously, let it absorb, and use a hair dryer without any issues. The toner doesn't get blown away by the hair dryer. It doesn't have specific functions like improving blemishes or reducing pores. It's just excellent for hydration.
