ProsAs a super sensitive oily skin type, I tried this product because it's made through freeze-drying, resulting in capsules of pure ingredients without preservatives or additives. I've avoided hyaluronic acid for over 2 years as it usually causes deep, hard blemishes on my skin.
Absorption: While it doesn't absorb lightning-fast despite being 50% hyaluronic acid and 50% collagen, it absorbs well enough even for oily skin without feeling sticky.
Formulation: Being freeze-dried capsules, they can break if opened carelessly. However, this isn't an issue as they dissolve and absorb quickly when mixed with toner or serum.
Texture & Application: When dissolved, it feels smoother compared to regular toners or serums. It applies with a nice glow and gives that 'well-cared-for' skin feeling, which was impressive.
While they claim to see significant results in 2 weeks, I noticed effects in just one week. Despite my blemish-prone skin, apart from some minor pimples during the initial adjustment period (which is normal when trying new skincare ingredients), my skin condition improved dramatically.
ConsI'd like to mention two downsides: price and practicality.
Regarding price, it's undeniably expensive. I heard it was first exported overseas, so the price seems to have been set based on foreign markets and then matched similarly in Korea.
As for practicality, opening the capsules can be slightly challenging. It doesn't require much strength, but it might be inconvenient for those without nails. Keep this in mind.
TipFor this product, instead of dissolving and rubbing it in, it's better to apply it directly and spread it on top. Then, immediately layer any cream you have over it. Personally, I mix it with toner, apply a retinol serum, then a thin layer of moisturizer, followed by a galvanic treatment. I finish with a small amount of light jojoba oil, rubbing it thoroughly between my hands to minimize oiliness.
