This product is great! If you want a natural look, use it as directed (apply on damp skin after showering, then rinse off). For a more noticeable before-and-after effect, apply it on slightly towel-dried skin after showering (without rinsing). It doesn't cause blemishes, itching, or irritation. You can even use it on your face. (For facial use, it pairs wonderfully with the Mamonde Flora Glow Rose Mask - it's almost a must-have combination!) For those who don't rinse off the product to see a more dramatic before-and-after effect: If it starts to feel dry and difficult to spread while applying, don't keep layering it. I've been using this for about 5 days! After using body wash, I applied it while my skin was still damp, left it on for about 3 minutes, and then rinsed it off with water. Compared to 5 days ago, my skin tone has significantly improved. To see the difference, I didn't apply it on my back, and the areas where I used the product are noticeably whiter overall! I was particularly pleased to see how it brightened my elbows and knees, which were a bit darker before. The texture feels similar to using sunscreen diluted with water. If you've been stressed about having a darker complexion, I highly recommend giving this a try! One downside was that after rinsing, if you rub your skin, it tends to pill a bit like dead skin cells. When drying off after rinsing, make sure to pat your skin dry with a towel instead of rubbing!
