  It pairs well with base makeup. The texture is moisturizing yet refreshing. When first applied, it's truly satisfying.

  Cons

  As time passes, it causes severe eye irritation. Because of this, I probably won't repurchase. Once the eye irritation starts, the discomfort lasts until I cleanse my face, even leading to headaches.

  I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin with large pores in the T-zone and butterfly zone. I liked this mineral sunscreen because it has gentle ingredients and no white cast. Usually, mineral sunscreens cause deep dryness, which paradoxically leads to oiliness, but this one applied quite moisturizing without such issues. Typically, mineral sunscreens set quickly, but this one had just the right amount of hydration, so it didn't create any harsh lines on my face. While there is some white cast, it gives more of a soft-focus effect rather than a ghostly appearance, so it didn't look strange when I applied makeup over it. However, it might feel a bit thick for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  The pore-blocking ingredients seemed to cause tiny bumps and texture issues. Also, remember that you need to double cleanse to remove it completely.

  This sunscreen is a rare gem - it's got all the good ingredients while still being a dream to apply! It glides on so smoothly, you might forget it's even sunscreen. While it's not quite as silky as the Dokdo Moisture Sunscreen, it's still a winner in my book. The formula absorbs well, has great ingredients, and I'm totally satisfied. Usually, sunscreens can cause blemishes, but this one keeps my skin clear. There's barely any scent, and it moisturizes beautifully even on dry skin. Most sunscreens tend to feel sticky or heavy, but this one's lighter on the skin. I think I even detect a slight cooling effect! The tube design seems improved from the basic white version. The product has a very subtle greenish tint, which I believe comes naturally from the ingredients rather than added colorants.

  The only minor gripe I have with Hygge products is that the cap design could use some improvement. Other than that, I can't find any faults!

  Even though mineral sunscreens are praised for being gentle, I find chemical sunscreens are definitely better for pre-makeup application. It leaves my skin moisturized without any dryness, creating a perfect canvas for makeup to adhere to. I personally love that Hwahae offers many vegan products, which makes me appreciate the brand even more.
