Many people say it causes darkening with a dewy finish, but I didn't really notice that. Even when it fades, it does so beautifully. It definitely lives up to its reputation.
ConsWhile it gives a glow, if you're not careful, it can look like an oily sheen. It also feels quite heavy when applied, and it seems to bring out excess oil, so I don't reach for it often. These days, I mostly use other lightweight cushions.
TipApplying Jung Saem Mool's mist before the foundation really helps it absorb well! It seems all of Jung Saem Mool's products have great quality.

The texture feels slightly moist when applying, giving a somewhat cool sensation. Due to its slightly damp consistency, it seems to cover pores and blackheads on the nose quite well.
ConsAlthough it feels very moist during application, it doesn't actually leave the skin feeling hydrated after use. More importantly, as someone whose face tends to heat up easily, this makeup breaks down with heat and sweat, especially on the nose! While other areas just look a bit shiny, the nose in particular appears patchy.
TipThe shade runs quite dark, so be sure to choose one shade lighter than usual. For those who usually use shade 21, go for Fair Light or Fair Pink. You might even be able to use Fair.

For those who love a pink base, I highly recommend Fair Pink. # Coverage - While it may not provide full coverage that conceals absolutely everything, it offers impressive coverage for a cushion. You can achieve an almost flawless, smooth skin appearance. # Applicator - The puff seems to work really well with the product. Plus, the textured lid helps in picking up the right amount of product for easy application.
ConsIt feels a bit drier than I expected. Although it doesn't cause tightness or cracking, it seems to rely more on oil than moisture for hydration, probably due to its thicker consistency and good coverage. It doesn't address deep dryness. However, the balanced oil content made it suitable for winter use.
TipThe texture is also great for spreading and patting. Try spreading it first, then gently patting it in!

I used this after getting a recommendation, and it's great. No blemishes appeared, and it absorbs beautifully.
ConsAfter a while, it does get a bit oily, but that's pretty much the case with other compacts too.

But after using this cushion, I'm amazed at how my skin stays so hydrated and intact even with a mask on! If your makeup constantly breaks apart, you've got to try this... It's absolutely fantastic!
ConsHmm... The cushion isn't very bright. When applied, it feels more like a #21 shade? Still, the hydration is top-notch. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you have oily skin.
TipFor best results, try spritzing some mist on the puff before applying it to your skin.

To be honest, there's not much else positive to say...
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found this cushion disappointing in many ways. I switched from the Black Cushion to this one hoping for more hydration in winter, but I was greatly let down. It feels overly rich, gets greasy quickly, and caused my skin to break out with three pustular blemishes after just one day of use. The application feels thick rather than lightweight, and it tends to separate on the skin. I thought I was the only one whose skin reacted badly, but many of my friends experienced similar issues. I wouldn't use this even if it were given to me for free.
TipUse sparingly, opt for less oily skincare products underneath, and set with powder - that might help make it work better.

It gives a radiant, smooth, porcelain-like appearance that just glides on. It also has decent coverage, so you can complete your entire base makeup with just this one product. It's a cushion I often reach for on busy mornings.
ConsThere aren't any real downsides. But if I had to nitpick, applying this after using a very rich moisturizer might make the finish feel a bit heavy, as the product is already quite hydrating. However, this is partly because I have oily skin, and the sunscreen I'm currently using tends to get slightly oily over time. Using a more matte sunscreen would solve this issue. Personally, I find Hera cushions perfect for summer and Jung Saem Mool cushions ideal for winter.

It hardly darkens throughout the day, and its staying power is impressive - that's a big plus in my book.
ConsThe only downside? If you have an oily T-zone like me, you might notice it gets a bit shiny on the nose area.

I prefer a brighter, more radiant pink tone than shade 21, so I looked into color reviews. They mentioned Fair Pink was half a shade darker, but when I tested it at the department store, it wasn't dark at all - it was beautifully bright and radiant! There were also many comments about it being thick due to its good coverage, but I found that's all about application technique! If you dab a little on the back of the lid and blend it onto your face, it adheres thinly. For areas needing more coverage, just apply a bit more - perfect! For my dry skin, it provides dewy glow without any flaws. This cushion made me forget all my concerns from reading reviews! I've tried many expensive cushions, but they always fell short and I didn't repurchase. With this one, there's no need to hesitate! I highly recommend this to those with dry skin who love a dewy glow, adjustable coverage, and a bright, radiant look!
ConsThere's nothing to complain about! I'm struggling to write 20 characters... Well, I wonder if it might get a bit shiny in the peak of summer? I haven't tried it then, so I'm not sure!
TipUsing it with Jung Saem Mool's sun base doubles the radiance!

Radiant look without yellow undertones I was torn between Fair Light and Fair Pink, but I heard Fair Light was a bit yellower than expected, so I went with Fair Pink. It definitely has almost no yellow tinge and makes my skin look luminous, as if it's glowing. 2. Skin appears hydrated(?) Right after application, there's a glow to the skin that makes it look incredibly moisturized. However, when actually applying it, you don't feel much hydration... The product itself isn't particularly hydrating, so you need to apply your base makeup meticulously.
ConsAs mentioned in other reviews, it's not as hydrating as one might expect. That being said, it's not drying either, and I didn't experience any deep dryness. I have very dry skin, especially around my nose and eyes where I have contact and seborrheic dermatitis. Even with a good base, those areas would still get red and flaky, so I had to keep applying medication or cream throughout the day. However, if I apply too much moisturizing base, my face gets too shiny and attracts dust and hair...
TipI use Etude's Glow On Base, but for those with very dry skin, I'd recommend applying an oil-based primer first. If you're not that dry, I wouldn't recommend an oil base. The cushion itself has a bit of a shiny finish, so it might look too oily.
