It applies thinly and doesn't feel matte, which is great for my combination dehydrated skin. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for light coverage. The puff might be a downside for some, but I found its firmness made it easier to control the amount of product. It also seems to absorb less foundation, which is a plus. For my shade 21 skin, it provides a natural brightening effect that works well. The coverage is a bit lacking, to be honest. You need to pat it on multiple times for better results. For those with blemishes and visible pores like me, a concealer is still necessary. Also, the puff is quite firm, which might take some getting used to. This foundation seems ideal for those who prefer a natural, lightweight look. While it may not provide heavy coverage, it offers a subtle brightening effect that evens out the complexion. The unique puff design helps with product control but may require an adjustment period. For those with more prominent skin concerns, pairing it with a concealer might be the best approach to achieve desired results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2025
I'm someone who's only recently opened my eyes to the world of makeup. I'm a total beauty novice who doesn't even know the proper skincare routine. I tried a cushion foundation sample that my friend gave me to test before buying. I liked that I could control the amount easily, and it applied thinly and naturally. The staying power was also decent. I'm not sure if it was because my skincare routine was lacking, or because my skin is quite dry, or if I just didn't apply it correctly, But it looked more matte than I expected. Personally, I felt my skin became quite dry after wearing it for a few hours. For those with dry skin, I think it's crucial to be thorough with your skincare routine. I hope this helps. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 25, 2025
The case exudes luxury. It's incredibly convenient to have a mirror included - no more anxiety about dropping the puff when opening the cushion to check your makeup on the go. The application is smooth, and it doesn't transfer easily. The adherence is decent, coverage is good, and it doesn't break down noticeably. It gives your skin a natural glow - love it! The adherence could be better. Since it's quite moisturizing, you definitely need to set it with powder, which is a bit of a downside. As the name suggests "layered," applying multiple thin layers creates a beautiful skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 21, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can wear this all day without any blemishes appearing! I can't remember a single time it's caused issues. It's the best! Plus, I'm not great at applying makeup, but this is so easy to put on. Even if I apply it carelessly, it goes on smoothly - just like a cushion foundation! Since I have oily skin, I think a powder is essential with this. Otherwise, it feels like it might come off easily. If you want more hydration, try lightly spraying some mist on the puff and gently patting it onto your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2025
Here's my honest review after using this product for 5 months: True to its name "Layered Fit," this cushion applies thinly without caking, allowing for beautiful layering. It provides just the right amount of hydration, which I love. I think it's a great basic item for those new to makeup. Even if you apply it haphazardly, it goes on smoothly without pilling or patchy areas. The color is lovely too. I've tried other cushions after using the Naming cushion, but I find that the Naming cushion applies the most lightly and beautifully. I've used many cushions, and while the cushion itself was often good, the puffs were disappointing. However, this puff doesn't seem to over-absorb the product and helps it apply smoothly and with good hydration. Overall, I think the combination of the cushion and puff creates the most beautiful application. This cushion would be great for those who find base makeup challenging or who feel that cushions tend to look patchy and dry on their skin. It seems like an excellent choice for makeup beginners. In summary: A great basic item that doesn't cake and applies well. The puff complements the cushion nicely. Highly recommended for those new to makeup. While the cushion itself was perfect, I'm disappointed that the packaging has a mirror-like finish, which tends to collect fingerprints and other marks easily. I think it would be better if they changed it from the glossy mirror packaging to a regular cushion compact. Rather than applying a lot at once, it's better to apply thin layers multiple times, true to its "Layered" name. This method prevents caking and ensures smooth application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 16, 2025
The product applies smoothly without any puffiness, which I really like. It has a lightweight feel. Admittedly, since it applied lightly, the coverage is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2025
Due to its popularity, I tried it out, but it applied thinly. It was for the sports festival, and it lasted a long time and was good. As a person with sensitive skin, I feel like my skin has become irritated and my skin barrier has been compromised after using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2025
First off, it doesn't cause any blemishes!!!!!!! That's a huge advantage in itself. The color is also beautiful - I love that it doesn't look artificially yellow or pink-based. It absorbs well, has just the right amount of hydration, and is simply perfect. Overall, it's the best cushion I've used so far, which is why I'm on my third repurchase. I think I'll stick with this one until I find an even better cushion. There are no downsides!!!! It's really great. For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin. If you apply it in thin layers, then layer it again the same way, and finish with powder, your skin will look flawless all day without any touch-ups. People have asked me more than three times what skincare products I use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2025
The skin coverage is amazing, even though the photo is partially obscured by a hand. While it's not super high coverage, the longevity is incredible and it adheres well to the skin. It applies thinly, making it perfect for a light, everyday look. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! As someone with extremely dry skin who doesn't usually get along with matte cushions, this one is different - it goes on smoothly and gives a natural, soft-focus effect. When oil does come through, it doesn't look greasy or unattractive, but instead creates a natural glow. Strongly recommended for those with dry skin! It feels a bit thin, so to get decent coverage, I need to apply a thin layer of foundation I already have at home before using this cushion. Apart from the coverage issue, everything else is great. If you want to conceal blemishes or acne scars, try applying a thin layer of concealer, then a sheer layer of foundation, followed by this cushion - it works perfectly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2025
Truly... amazing... As a beauty junkie with 34 cushions, this one is definitely among the best. It's not overly glowy, more of a semi-glow to semi-matte finish! I rarely touch up, so I gravitate towards cushions with good staying power even without reapplication, and this one delivers. The best part? No darkening, which I absolutely love! The cushion applies thinly, has a beautiful design, and the mirror on the outside is perfect for lazy people like me. I'm already on my third one - it's a real holy grail product. Whenever someone asks for a cushion recommendation, I shout 'Naming Layered Fit!' without hesitation. Please, everyone, try it at least once. Your life will be divided into before and after using Naming. If there's one drawback to the Layered Fit, it's the coverage... That's why I took off one star... But it's not like the coverage is terrible or doesn't conceal anything at all. It's more like, 'Hmm? Oh, it doesn't cover completely...' So those with good skin will probably be very satisfied. Still, it does build up if you layer it! When applying to your forehead, smooth it on, then gently pat it in!
