There was a bit of powder dispersal, so that part was a little disappointing!

It was really well-blended like a shadow, so I was able to create a natural look without giving away that I had done shading! I was happy that I could pull it off so seamlessly.

We recommend using only the first option. The second one is an extreme warm tone.

Despite being a natural color, it seemed a bit too warm, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was quite a bit of powder fallout, which was also somewhat disappointing.

The pigmentation was good, and the palette was wide, making it pleasant to use. Additionally, it did not cause any blemishes or skin issues.

There were no particular shortcomings, but if I had to point one out, it would be that it breaks easily even with a small impact, so it would be better if the durability was a bit stronger.

Usually, other contouring products have various colors all mixed together in one pan, which was inconvenient. But this one allows you to use the two colors separately according to your needs, or mix them, which was great.
To get good color payoff, you also need a good brush, and the set includes high-quality brushes, which was nice.
I'm satisfied with the color payoff and longevity as well.

When I first purchased it, there was a bit of an odor, which was disappointing in this aspect.

It has just the necessary colors, and the shadow colors are natural, so I really like it. It's a bit on the larger side, but I think it's actually more convenient to use as a shading brush because of that. It doesn't easily break or create much powder. The formula feels a bit more solid compared to other shading products. I think this would be a good purchase for beginners at shading or those who are unsure of what to buy.

Why was it discontinued? It had no downsides, but the downside of being discontinued emerged.

This is a recreation of Etude Shading 1. I recommend it to those with skin tones 22-23. The warm and slightly yellow-toned color seems to suit warm-toned individuals better than cool-toned ones. (I am a 22 autumn dark type.)

Tone & On: This is a beige color with a light grayish tone. It's a good color for creating shadows on the sides of the nose or under the chin. It blended naturally on my skin.

Mute On: This is a deep brown with reddish undertones. It's an excellent color for contouring the chin. It also works well for adding depth to the eyes and filling in sparse eyebrows. 

The product applies smoothly and has a nice color payoff, making it suitable even for makeup beginners. Additionally, it has less fallout compared to the previous Too Cool for School shading product I used.

The only potential downside would be the powdery dispersal, but if you apply it with proper dosage control, it should be fine.

The color blends in very naturally without being too dark, so even Hwahae Trial Reviewers have a low chance of failure. It has a natural gray-brown tone without any redness, making it perfect for Asian skin tones! This provides a natural shadow effect, so I'm completely satisfied.

✔ Application & Adherence
There is little powder fallout and good adherence! When applying Hwahae, there is often a lot of powder that flies around and clumps on the sides of the nose or jawline, but this applies smoothly and blends in seamlessly without any clumping.

✔ Longevity
The longevity is also quite good! If I apply it in the morning, it lasts until the afternoon, so there's almost no need for touch-ups. However, in the summer when oil comes through, it can lighten slightly, so I just dab some oil-blotting paper and lightly reapply to revive it.

I'm completely satisfied! The color payoff is great and the longevity is good too! I've been using it regularly.

The color above was not used, so I would prefer if it was only the one below. It's a shame.

Currently using the second one, the color is to my liking and the capacity is quite long-lasting.

There doesn't seem to be any Hwahae as natural and easy for beginners to use as this shading.

I usually do light contouring on the cheekbones and nose, so I use the upper color well! It's a good color for light shaping! But if I want to do contouring on the chin area, it's a bit tricky... The upper color doesn't show much on the chin, but if I use the lower color, it's too warm.
The product has a large capacity, but since I only use the upper color, it's actually quite expensive, so I don't repurchase it.

The 21st shade is a warm spring color, while the 1st shade is a recreation. Although the 1st shade seemed like the most neutral color, I ended up only using the top color! The top color is pretty, but the bottom color is too deep, making my face look too warm and obvious when applied.
However, I've seen reviews saying that purchasing other shades is too much hassle and doesn't layer well. I personally preferred using a 3-color or 4-color shading palette instead.
