  It's gentle and does a decent job at cleansing. Plus, it leaves your skin feeling fresh and matte.

  Cons

  I bought this with high hopes after a YouTuber recommended it. It seemed fine at first, but the next morning I woke up to four new pus-filled blemishes! At least I found out it doesn't suit me after just one use.

  Tip

  If you have super sensitive skin like mine, I recommend patch testing on your jawline first. Even if you don't have sensitive skin, always check for ingredients that might not agree with you.

  The only positive thing I can say is that it contains probiotics as an ingredient...

  It's absolutely terrible at removing dead skin cells. After using this, my face became red and I got even more blemishes.

  If there's a sample or travel-size available, definitely try it before buying the full-size product.

  It's creamy with a rich lather, almost like a moisturizer. I love that the fragrance isn't overpowering.

  Cons

  Initially, my face was slightly flushed. After a few more uses, it became itchy with a rash. The itching was so intense at night that I scratched until I bled. The burning sensation and fever were so severe that I switched back to regular soap, which actually cleared up the redness. My skin usually tolerates everything, so this was unexpected. Just because it's ranked #1 on Hwahae doesn't mean it works for everyone.

  I chose this product because the ingredients looked good, and I'm happy that I didn't have any allergic reactions! I also liked the slightly squeaky-clean feeling it gave. [Additional Review] 07/23/23 I love that the case is lightweight, white, and clean-looking. Though it does get a bit squished after using it for a while.

  Cons

  Nothing yet. I'm hoping it continues to benefit my skin health even with long-term use. If I find any downsides later, I'll update my review. 04/21/23 [Additional Review] 07/31/23 Hmm, after switching back to this product from another one, I've noticed small red patches about the size of mosquito bites appearing on my face. It might be because my skin is more sensitive lately... It's a bit disappointing. (I'll give it 4 stars though)

  Tip

  From April to June, I've been sensitive even to tap water, so I use filtered water, bottled water, or boiled and cooled water for my final rinse. Doing this after cleansing definitely reduces skin sensitivity. It's a bit inconvenient, but there's a noticeable difference when I don't do it. Anyway, I hope this helps someone else out there with super sensitive skin like mine.

  I experienced some itching after using it. It seems the slightly acidic formula doesn't suit me, but that might just be my skin. My sister, who I live with, tried it and liked it, so I gave her the rest.

  I bought it because it's gentle and slightly acidic, but I felt itchy after using it (around the eyes and sides of the forehead).

  Tip

  If you have skin similar to my sister's, you might find this product works well for you. She has combination dehydrated skin and occasionally gets small blemishes.

  As someone who only used gentle, low pH cleansers, the squeaky-clean finish felt a bit irritating to me. I stopped using it after noticing some blemishes appearing when I switched to this cleanser.
