My skin profile: [Hands: extremely dry, Feet: dry, Lips: extremely dry, Scalp: oily, Face: combination dehydrated, Body: dry] [Complexion: between 23-24 shade, Concerns: makeup settling into under-eye wrinkles, lip line discoloration, brown dark circles, good skin texture but visible pores, minimal blemishes but significant redness on cheekbones] It has a cozy soap scent that lingers for a long time. The one-touch cap makes it convenient to use. The texture is neither too runny nor too thick - just perfectly smooth. It absorbs well with a gentle application. There's a nice balance of hydration and richness. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving a soft, matte finish. The moisturizing effect lasts for a good while. I can't find any downsides in terms of feel or hydration. However, those who prefer unscented products might find the fragrance a bit strong. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2023
The scent is pleasantly similar to Dove soap, though it might be a matter of personal preference. It's not too thick, more like a light emulsion that's easy to apply. Seems like a good, versatile option for everyday use. I don't find it particularly outstanding, so I probably wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2022
The scent is quite pleasant, isn't it? It reminds me of Dove soap. The cream absorbs well, making it great for light application. The fragrance is a bit heavy, yet the moisturizing power isn't particularly strong. I suspect it might not be sufficient for winter use! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 3, 2022
I really like the Dalan Olive Nourishing hand cream, starting with its lovely olive and soap scent. I use it often at the office, and it's perfect because it's not too sticky or thick, which can be a problem with office equipment. It's wonderfully light, making it great for frequent use. The price is also very reasonable, so I often pick it up at Olive Young. Personally, I don't have any particular complaints. However, it might not be sufficient for those with very dry skin or those looking for an ultra-moisturizing hand cream. It's non-sticky and doesn't leave residue, making it ideal for those who need a hand cream with these qualities. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 13, 2022
First off, the scent is absolutely delightful - it's bursting with a lovely soap fragrance. The product absorbs well, making it easy and pleasant to apply. Perhaps because my hands are quite dry, I feel it could use a bit more hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2021
The fragrance is absolutely delightful. I didn't expect such a wonderful scent just from looking at the packaging, but it's reminiscent of Dove soap and is truly the best among common soap-scented hand creams. What's more, the cream absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky feeling! I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I feel like my skin becomes even drier after applying it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 5, 2021
As someone who's quite picky, I'm 100 times over the moon with this life-changing hand cream! The star rating seems a bit harsh, so I'm leaving this review to share a different perspective. 1. Fragrance While scent preferences vary, I've never had negative feedback when wearing this! Everyone says it smells like fresh soap after a shower. I agree and think it's one of this hand cream's strongest points. As a soap scent lover, I've tried countless perfumes and body washes, but this ranks in my top 3 for positive reactions. The fragrance is strong, but in the best way - it just puts me in a great mood! It's unique too... There's a reason it's such a popular European travel souvenir! 2. Ingredients Many hand creams have questionable ingredients, which is concerning since we touch our mouths and other areas with our hands. I've passed on many products despite nice scents, including L'Occitane's original formula. But this new Nourishing version has only basic fragrances and phenoxyethanol when I checked - nothing alarming! I bought it right away and feel at ease using it liberally. 3. Hydration & Absorption This aspect is also a huge improvement over previous versions. The old L'Occitane formula was thick and goopy, leaving a white residue like certain other brands. It didn't absorb well and felt sticky. The Nourishing cream, however, glides on smoothly and provides long-lasting deep hydration. As someone who washes their hands frequently for work and has extremely dry skin, this cream manages my hangnails and cracking better than anything else. It feels moisturizing from within, not just on the surface! 4. Price During Olive Young sales, affordable products become even cheaper. It's great for stocking up without breaking the bank. 5. Tube Packaging Since we're always washing our hands outside, portability matters. The tube isn't too large, making it convenient to carry around. There are no downsides! This Nourishing hand cream wasn't on Hwahae before, but I came to check now that it's listed. While preferences vary, for me, this is my holy grail hand cream! Grab it during Olive Young sales! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 27, 2021
Compared to other hand creams, this one has significantly less richness. After applying, the oiliness disappears so quickly you might wonder if it's even effective. Of course, the cream isn't evaporating, so it must be absorbing somewhere, right? I highly recommend this to those who dislike overly rich hand creams. I tried the tester at Olive Young and bought it for the scent. While it might be polarizing, I personally enjoy the fragrance. It's similar to a slightly more intense Dove soap scent. I've been using it for three days now, but I'm still unsure about its effectiveness. The lack of richness makes me question if it's really working. However, it's definitely better than not using any hand cream at all.
