My skin is combination dehydrated with excess oil production when exposed to sunlight, but the inner layers are dry, causing makeup to crack and break down unattractively. While I use skincare products twice daily, I spritz mists multiple times a day. So, I believe the ingredients in mists are even more crucial than in basic skincare. The Dokdo Mist has gentle ingredients, allowing for frequent use without worry. Many users reported developing small bumps, which concerned me before use. However, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation after using it. I usually break out when using products with high oil content, but the Dokdo Mist suited me well as it provides hydration without being overwhelming, even with multiple applications. I haven't noticed improvements in skin texture yet (I'll update as I continue using it), but it's great for temporary hydration and use before and after skincare routines. A feature that's both a pro and a con: while it's not a fog-type mist, the narrow nozzle produces a fine spray that doesn't disrupt makeup. However, the spray power and coverage are limited, making it feel like you've barely applied anything... You need to spray at least 4 times! I'd recommend the Dokdo Mist for those who want to add hydration throughout the day like a skincare product, rather than those looking for the mattifying effects of sebum control ingredients, a cooling sensation post-makeup, or skin texture improvement from oily mists. It worked well for my oily skin, leaving a fresh feeling, but those with dry skin might experience some tightness. Repurchase intention: ★★★
ConsThe limited spray range (about the size of the back of your hand) and weak spray power make it challenging to evenly cover the entire face without multiple applications... Previously, I used mists to refresh heavy, long-wearing makeup, for a subtle fragrance, or to control oil and add hydration post-makeup with sebum control ingredients. However, the Dokdo Mist, with its unscented formula, lack of cooling effect, and weak spray power, left something to be desired when used over makeup. (+Update: I didn't notice this in cooler weather, but now that it's hot and humid, I feel a strong tightening sensation every time I spray this product...)
TipAs mentioned in the pros, this is a great mist for daily use and during your skincare routine. As a bonus, it's not sticky at all, making it convenient and pleasant to use on your body after showering!

Ingredients ★★★★★ (Composed of gentle ingredients as per the ingredient analysis. I was worried since hyaluronic acid doesn't usually suit me, but no blemishes appeared) 2. Cooling effect ★☆☆☆☆ (Less cooling sensation when sprayed compared to other mists) 3. Evaporation speed ★☆☆☆☆ (The cooling sensation is proportional to evaporation speed, so the slower evaporation leads to less skin tightness) 4. Deep dryness relief ★★★★☆ (As mentioned, there's less skin tightness compared to other mists, but being a mist, there's still a slight tightness after some time if used alone without other skincare products) 5. Smoothing effect ★★★★★ 6. Volume (appropriate) ★★★★★ 7. Spray amount (appropriate) ★★★★★ 8. Spray coverage (slightly narrow) ★★☆☆☆ 9. Rich feeling (none, even after time passes) ☆☆☆☆☆ 10. Fragrance (unscented) ★★★★★ 11. Makeup disruption - I don't use mists after makeup, so I'll pass this to other Hwahae Testers
ConsIt would have been nice if the cooling effect was a bit stronger. Apart from that, there's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, the spray coverage could be a bit wider.
TipIt works well as a toner replacement too!

I have combination, sensitive skin prone to occasional blemishes. My skin reacts quickly to complex ingredients, so I always patch test on my inner arm first. Thankfully, this mist felt gentle and lightweight on my face without any irritation. Despite containing oil, it didn't feel heavy on my oily skin - just pleasantly hydrating. It layered well with my other skincare products without pilling or sliding off. Spritzing it right after cleansing prevented any feeling of tightness. The subtle fragrance is nice, and even though it's not an aerosol, the fine mist doesn't leave any large droplets. I was worried about the hyaluronic acid, but it absorbed well without causing any blemishes, leaving my skin feeling moisturized.
ConsI usually prefer the IBN mist for its fine spray and cooling effect. The spray mechanism on this one isn't quite as satisfying. While I use mists for both hydration and to cool my skin, this one excels at moisturizing but falls short on the cooling aspect. That's why I deducted one star.
TipIt also works quite well when applied with a cotton pad.
