MALIN+GOETZ Dark Rum 20% Rum Brun Eau de Parfum

The perfume I bought around the end of last year is Hwahae. It's the second perfume I've bought, as I've fallen for the Hwahae 'Bbaedongkul' perfume. Perfume is said to be another language that expresses me, isn't it? If I were to intuitively express the scent of this perfume as it is, it would be "oak-aged rum with matured cherries." I use this special scent when I want to express myself in a unique way. For me, the appeal is as special as the scent itself. The vibe of this scent is similar to the jazz-like scent of Maison Margiela, and it also has a slight crossover with Creed's Aventus. The fragrance notes are: Top: Bergamot, plum, anise Middle: Rum, leather, milk, spices Base: Patchouli, vanilla, amber The cherry note I perceived was actually more of a prune note. The matured prune note gently compromises with the final sweet vanilla, amber, and the appropriate woody notes, making it neither too sweet nor too intense, leaving a pleasant oakwood-like drydown. This is a scent with a distinct personality, and a couple of sprays are enough for good projection and all-day longevity. The vibe of this perfume reminds me of a chic, secretive jazz club, where a stylishly dressed lady is leisurely sipping an underroc while enjoying the music.

As you can see in the photo, it's just a simple, clean bottle with lettering. Even though the bottle itself is quite simple, I really liked the fragrance, so I didn't feel any disappointment.
