But above all, the ingredients~!! I have sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes - usually when I wear makeup, something breaks out, and even after cleansing and sleeping, the blemishes calm down only to flare up again when I apply makeup. The shade also worked well for me - I'm a spring warm tone and liked the #21. It was also good for winter use, providing just the right amount of hydration.
ConsI searched extensively on Hwahae for products with good ingredients, and this one seemed perfect without PEGs or other problematic components. So I bought it, but I just can't figure out why it doesn't work for me. I had high hopes because of the great ingredients, but now that I've stopped using it for a while, my skin has cleared up. If I use this product again, I'm sure something will break out. It causes inflamed, pus-filled blemishes... I'm sure it's great for those who can use it, but for me, it's just another waste of money. It's really hard to find the right foundation, just like with shampoos.
TipThe absorbs well and coverage were so good that it worked well whether I used a brush, puff, or my hands.

My poor skin gets irritated easily if I use the wrong cosmetics. After taking medication for a few months in 2020, it's slightly better than before, and wearing less makeup post-COVID has helped too. In 2022, I had a setback with a quack dermatologist, but I'm back on proper medication and improving. As of September, it's much better. 1) Absorbs lightly (doesn't feel heavy or cakey) 2) Nicely brightens the complexion (shade 21 for my skin tone) 3) No particularly harmful ingredients 4) Decent coverage
ConsWhy on earth! Everyone else says it's fine! Why is it always me? Blemishes... sigh... The coverage and application were exactly what I wanted, but the blemishes... oh well... 1) After wearing makeup for a short time, red spots appeared on both cheeks. 1-1) I didn't realize it was this product at first because it calmed down after not wearing makeup for three days. But when I tried it again for two consecutive days, I got blemishes on my nose bridge (which rarely happens), and red bumps and tiny spots on my cheeks and forehead. My face felt burning and tingling when washing. Tried again the following week with similar results. 2) Might be too dry for winter or dry skin types. 3) Can accentuate dead skin cells if not careful.
TipSince others say it's fine, those with less sensitive skin might want to give it a try... oh well... sigh...
