The Hermès blush from their color cosmetics line... I was curious how they'd capture the Hermès essence. Well, let me tell you: The pigmentation is just right! By 'just right', I mean it builds up without clumping, complementing your base makeup without disturbing it (though if your base is super dewy, you might get a tiny bit of pilling). As someone with a 21-22 warm deep tone, prone to redness, and sensitive to blush textures due to visible pores, I found this blush to be nearly perfect. It didn't emphasize redness or pores, truly living up to its high-end status. The color is a soft rose with a hint of coral. It's so nuanced that the warm/cool debate becomes irrelevant. Honestly, I bought this intending to critique its high price point, ready to argue that there are cheaper, quality alternatives. But after using it, I'm sold. It's that 'This is why it's Hermès' feeling (subjective, of course). Despite the steep price, everything from the color, quality, packaging, to the box has stolen my heart. Oh Hermès, you've done it again! The price is steep... It's a choice between 7-9 drugstore blushes or one Hermès blush (to each their own, I suppose). There's a fragrance to it - the Hermès signature scent. I don't use Hermès fragrances much these days, so I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it reminds me of their discontinued 24 Faubourg. Looking at their website, it seems Merveilles might be a reinterpretation of 24 Faubourg. (I'll update with more accurate info after further research). Anyway, the presence of this signature scent means your enjoyment may depend on whether you like the fragrance or not. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2022
Shade: Deep undertone Purchase price: $99,000 KRW Reason for purchase: I was intrigued after hearing that Hermès Beauty blushes were luxurious and beautiful, so I decided to try it out. Review after use: I heard this shade might be exclusive to Korea(?), but the color is sophisticated, and there's no excess powder. It's a subtle reddish blush that I frequently use for my daily makeup routine. It works hard to give me that perfect Inner Glow! The compact format makes it quite heavy for a blush, and it takes up a fair amount of space in my makeup bag, which is a bit disappointing.
