Applies thinly with natural tone correction, giving skin a subtle glow. The lightweight formula doesn't feel heavy, so you barely notice you're wearing anything. It's not a thick consistency, allowing your skin to feel comfortable without any stuffiness. It's great at neutralizing both yellow undertones and redness, without making you look unnaturally pale - just a natural, healthy complexion. There's a mint scent that keeps reminding me of toothpaste while I'm applying it, haha! After my skincare routine, I was surprised to find it sitting on top of my skin at first. It takes quite a bit of blending to mix in naturally. - hi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2023
This might be the best primer I've ever used! The lightweight texture made it effortless to apply with my fingers. It felt refreshing on application and glided on smoothly, which I loved. Plus, instead of that typical cosmetic scent, it had a delightful mint fragrance that I really enjoyed. I didn't find any particular drawbacks while using this product! - ye*******Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2023
It absorbs smoothly and moisturizes without any pilling. The hydration boost seems to have created a perfect canvas for makeup application. I didn't get the impression that this primer effectively filled in my pores. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2023
It works well as a brightening moisturizer and primer for a bare-faced look. It slightly brightens the skin, subtly reduces redness, though it doesn't really conceal pores. I used it as a pore-minimizing primer before makeup, but it had zero effect. It seems it's only suitable for a slight complexion enhancement when going out bare-faced. At least I got it cheap on Coupang, so that's some consolation... - ch**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 4, 2023
Wow, my makeup sticks so well with this! After applying sunscreen, I lightly pat this in to absorb. Then I use a damp beauty sponge to gently tap it all over before applying foundation. It creates such a perfect, adherent base! It feels very hydrating when first applied, but as it absorbs, it becomes more matte due to its primer properties. If you layer it over well-moisturized skin, it doesn't feel too drying. Apply a thin layer to prevent pilling - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 28, 2022
As someone with blemish-prone skin, I love that this is silicone-free and applies so smoothly. When I use this primer before foundation, I get that coveted 'egg-shell smooth' complexion. It's the most satisfying primer I've ever tried! If you don't let it absorb properly, your makeup might not sit well and your foundation could slide around. Make sure to pat it in thoroughly for the best absorption. I bought the 30ml size (with an extra 15ml as a gratis gift) from Olive Young, and it's lasting forever! The expiration date is generous too. Definitely worth grabbing during a sale! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2022
Absorbs beautifully. It's a primer, but it's moisturizing and true to its name - it really smooths out the skin. Absolutely no effect on covering pores. It doesn't even control oil at all. There's simply no benefit whatsoever. I think I'll just go back to using my Bioderma. - rl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2022
I used to avoid primers because I didn't see much effect and they often clogged my pores, causing blemishes. But after loving the Pore Remedy pore mask, I decided to try this primer, and I think it's going to be a staple in my routine! My nose area pores usually make heavy makeup look worse, to the point where I'd rather go bare-faced. But with light application, my makeup would just disappear, leading to constant touch-ups. Using this primer before makeup, though, allows for a thin, even application that really adheres well. It's not about completely filling in pores, but rather creating a smooth base that helps foundation or BB cream apply beautifully. After application, my pores were noticeably less visible than usual. It's excellent at evening out skin tone and has a cooling effect that seems to calm pores as it's applied. After moisturizing well, I apply two drops in circular motions on each cheek, smooth out any dry patches, then apply foundation. The primer gives such a nice base effect that I can use less foundation for easier tone correction and thin coverage. It's especially great for areas prone to caking like around the nose and mouth - just a light dab with an almost dry puff provides coverage and stays put. I finished with Urban Decay setting spray, and I could really see the difference in how evened out my complexion was compared to usual. I'll definitely keep using this! The only downside I can think of is perhaps the price for the amount you get. The ingredients seem fine, and the scent isn't floral but has a subtle mint fragrance. Apply it like a base all over your face, then check for and smooth out any dry patches or uneven areas. For spots with more blemishes, add a bit of concealer before applying a very thin layer of foundation or cushion compact. Use much less than usual, taking most off on the back of your hand first. This creates a really beautiful finish. For wrinkled areas, think of the primer as the main coverage and go even lighter. Finish with a setting spray, and unless you have very oily skin, you shouldn't need to touch up much beyond occasional blotting. That's been my experience anyway! - dh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2022
This is the best primer I've ever purchased and used. It's the top choice! It's moisturizing, refreshing, smooth, and lightweight...! I experienced no pilling, and it has great staying power. After trying a sample, I immediately ordered a full-size. It even provides a slight tone correction, perhaps due to its color. It works well when mixed with sunscreen too. The ingredients are a bit disappointing, especially the talc - yikes. It's also on the pricier side, so I probably won't repurchase. However, if you're looking at it purely for its priming function, I'd recommend it! Make sure to cleanse your skin thoroughly after use. - om****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2022
I saw it on YouTube and decided to give it a try, though I was a bit skeptical at first! My skin has terrible texture, huge pores, and gets super oily, causing my makeup to slide off quickly. I've been really interested in primers, but hadn't found one I truly liked until now. This one is absolutely amazing! It's the end of my workday, and normally my skin would be an oily mess by now, but it still feels smooth and matte. Even this morning, my makeup looked like it had just been applied. I'm so satisfied! And the best part is, it doesn't feel like it's caking on thick layers of product - it just naturally envelops your skin in a light, breathable veil. I've only used it for a day, so I can't think of any downsides yet!
