I usually apply this generously after cleansing my face in my evening routine🫧 And when I take it out from the fridge and use it, it simultaneously calms and hydrates my skin, which I'm very satisfied with❄️ In the summer, I also like to use it as a soothing pack by applying it to a cotton pad - it works great as a calming pack! It's especially helpful after shaving or hair removal when my skin feels a bit hot and sensitive, as it immediately soothes it. I use it not just on my face, but on my body as well~ And if I layer a cream on top after using this, the moisture lasts for a really long time💦 It also seems to help control oil, as I noticed my forehead bumps significantly reduced after using this. On days when my skin is extra sensitive or irritated, I apply a generous amount like a sleeping pack and wake up with incredibly smooth and supple skin the next day🥹✨

Overall, I like it a lot, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be the scent. There is a distinct Hwahae scent, but it's not completely unscented, so those sensitive to scents may not like it. As a fragrance enthusiast, I'm fine with it, haha. The moisture is very immediate, but it may not be enough on its own for dry skin types. You'd need to layer it with a more moisturizing product to really make it last. And since it's a watery formula, it's perfect for summer, but may be lacking in winter when used alone. That said, it doesn't cause any trouble, so it's not a major downside, just a slight disappointment in the moisture department. But considering the price and ingredients, I'm satisfied with it.

Using aloe gel mixed with houttuynia cordata extract doesn't make much difference in terms of usage feel, and mixing them is more affordable, so I've gone back to using just aloe.
It's relative - the product itself was very satisfactory.

I've been using aloe vera gel packs and they work great, but I just bought some Hwahae gel and it's amazing too!
I tried using it as a substitute and the Hwahae ingredients also work really well for me.
It's similar to mixing aloe vera gel with Hwahae extract, but if you don't want the hassle of mixing, I'd recommend this Hwahae gel.

There's nothing particularly lacking, and it can be considered no different from aloe gel. However, since it is a gel, you'll need to apply a bit of oil on top.
