I absolutely adore sheet masks, and here's what I loved about this one: Adherence: Great Sheet material: Thick Essence: Due to the thick sheet, there's less leftover essence, but the sheet itself is well-soaked. Plus, the essence feels incredibly smooth! The hydration level is decent, and you can really feel the moisturizing effects. Wow, I've tried all kinds of sheet masks from 500 won to tens of thousands of won, but for some unknown reason, 5 minutes after using this mask for 20 minutes, I started feeling itchy. Then, to my shock, I developed a rash mainly around my neck and chin. I have atopic skin, so I thought, 'Let's just sleep it off... Maybe I overdid it today... It'll be fine if I just bear with it and sleep.' But the itching became so severe that I couldn't sleep. I rushed to the bathroom and saw my face had turned into what you see in the photo below! I've also included a picture of my skin before using the mask (taken 3 hours prior). While it wasn't perfect, my skin was pretty good. After rinsing with water, I thought it would get better, but now the burning sensation is intensifying. What should I do? I have a photoshoot tomorrow, and I think it's ruined. The symptoms are similar to when my atopic dermatitis flares up, so it seems this triggered my condition. A word of caution to those with atopic skin. I'll try to calm it down and update in the morning. Here's the update after calming my skin: At night, I washed my face twice with water, applied aloe gel, drank some water, and rested. While the redness subsided, my skin remained super sensitive for three days. For those who experience redness like I did, using aloe gel might help. Although the mask didn't work for me, here's a tip: For masks with thick sheets, after you're done, you can use the sheet like a towel to wipe down your arms and legs for extra benefits.
