For oily and sensitive skin types, OSNT is a game-changer! It's the perfect product to tighten up those loose pores and leave your skin feeling fresh without drying it out. This is truly a holy grail item for tightening loose pores. Never underestimate a brand just because you don't recognize the name. This is where The Hwahae Testers really shine! As a genuine granddaughter of Boryeong, I apologize for not recognizing the Boryeong Mud product earlier. Of all the mud masks I've used in my life, this one applies the most smoothly and has the strongest immediate pore-tightening effect. Despite being for oily skin, it rinses off incredibly clean. Surprisingly, the product itself is quite gentle. Personally, I love that it contains tea tree extract for its anti-inflammatory and disinfecting properties - it's a total winner for oily skin! Even though it's winter now, it doesn't leave my skin feeling overly dry when I use it. Of course, you can't avoid that tightening sensation as the mud dries, but unlike other products, you don't have to trade hydration for effectiveness, nor does it leave your skin feeling parched. I usually avoid mud masks in winter despite having oily skin, so I thought it was just my bad luck to receive this for testing during the cold months. I couldn't have been more wrong, and I humbly apologize for my initial skepticism. This mask is perfect for tightening up pores that have become enlarged due to seasonal changes and mask-wearing. However, don't use it daily. I used it every other day during the testing period, but I think 1-2 times a week would be sufficient. That said, using it three times a week didn't cause any adverse effects or overdo it. It's truly an excellent product - highly recommended!
Please read the leaflet carefully... While some physical exfoliation is unavoidable due to the formula, this product's particles, though small, are quite noticeable and may feel more intense than typical exfoliation. When you wet it and start rolling, you'll feel something like finely ground dry tea tree leaves. If you try to rinse it off immediately with wet hands like other mud masks, it might feel like you're scraping your skin with stones. Make sure to thoroughly wet the mud mask with water before gently rolling it off. The instructions in the included leaflet are very well-written, so please read them... Don't end up gasping and shaking like I did. Although it was quite uncomfortable, thankfully it didn't actually damage my skin.
Currently ranking #1 among mud masks... Magnaminty - irritates eyes and dries skin / Volcanic Scoria - drying and ineffective / Papa Recipe Eggplant - too oily, can't use even in deep winter / Steady Cica Leaf - just average... leaves a subtly greasy finish /
