Honestly, I didn't expect much (I've tried all kinds of mud masks, but they always either irritated my skin or did nothing), but I was pleasantly surprised. After using it, my skin texture became noticeably softer. What I was most satisfied with was that usually, no matter how good the ingredients are, I always get a pimple or two after using masks. This one contains alcohol, so I thought, 'Oh, this will dry out my skin and cause breakouts,' but not a single pimple appeared! I've used it about four times now, and seeing how my skin is still perfectly fine, I think it really suits me. I'm so happy! I love using masks, but lately, I couldn't because my skin kept reacting badly.
Well... I heard some people didn't like the scent, but it was fine for me. I also saw reviews saying it's hard to squeeze out, but not at all for me... So far, I haven't found any downsides. If I do after continued use, I'll update my review.
It doesn't seem to remove sebum properly, so before using this, I use a sebum-removing emulsion (I bought one from Numbuzin, but honestly, it's not great... I don't understand why all the reviews for it are so positive. I didn't bother returning it, but just thinking about the money I spent on Numbuzin...) I soak a cotton pad with it, leave it on for about 5 minutes, use some steam, then remove the sebum with a cotton swab before applying this mask. It's quite soothing and works well. However, if you have contact-sensitive skin like me, be careful when choosing sebum-removing products. After using them, your sebum might be gone, but you might end up with blemishes instead!
