It's gentle on the scalp and mild, and at first I was worried that it would make my crown feel heavy, but it absorbs well and doesn't show much. My crown has a nice, fluffy volume, which I really like.

It's a thin, watery type that flows well and has good absorbency. After applying the serum directly to the scalp, you rub it in around the surrounding area so it gets absorbed. When you use it, you can really feel the moisture seeping into the scalp, making it feel hydrated. Since the scalp is also skin, it needs to be cared for like the rest of your skin, and this ampoule alone can provide the basic care it needs. Using the serum has strengthened my scalp, and my hair has been growing in more densely at the crown.
Cons
The main downside is definitely the price. However, I still haven't been able to find a similar hair serum on the market with comparable ingredients. As far as I can tell, it's free of fragrances and alcohol, but I haven't found an alternative yet... The set with the 2+1 deal on the brand's website is what I recommend.
