I've always been a fan of NARS foundation and use it regularly. Not too sure about the cushion version though.
ConsI'm using shade 21, hoping for a lighter complexion. My skin tends to be on the yellow side, but this pink-based formula seems to make me look a bit more tanned than I'd like. It also feels a tad heavy on the skin.

Adherence is excellent. Longevity is medium to high. My skin type is combination with an oily T-zone and few blemishes. As soon as I apply it, I feel a cooling effect. The staying power is better than expected, which I'm very pleased with. The more I use it, the more I feel my skin improving. No darkening effect.
ConsIt's a moisturizing formula, so it can get a bit shiny over time. It has a very pink base, so those without fair complexions might notice a significant difference between their face and neck.

It really enhances the complexion if you have a warm skin tone.
ConsNot recommended for those with reddish skin tones! It has a very pink base that might accentuate redness.
TipFor a beautifully balanced base, try using a concealer with a slightly yellow undertone.

Namsan seems to match well. The coverage is decent, and it doesn't break down easily, so I'm enjoying using it.
ConsI don't have any particular complaints. Since it has a pink base, I think it suits my skin with yellow undertones even better.

Initially feels moisturizing, then settles into a semi-matte look. If you prep your skin with a rich base, there's no dryness. No issues with caking around the nose, and it fades gracefully. However, it can get a bit messy on the chin and T-zone. The fragrance is lovely. Color-wise, Finland shade might be better, but it's extremely yellow and dark. I'd recommend South for those blessed with flawless skin texture, zero blemishes, no redness, and a porcelain complexion!
ConsThe color is too pink-based, giving a grayish BB cream-like cast. In certain lighting, it can make you look ghostly - probably suitable for very fair skin tones, like 16 or 17 in Western shades. I didn't expect much coverage, but while it does even out the skin tone, it doesn't conceal any dark spots, slight redness, or blemishes. Don't expect any coverage - use a concealer instead. However, the grayish pink tone is so light that it doesn't match well with any concealer. It emphasizes dry patches on the chin and gets oily quickly on the nose. Longevity is poor - breaks down after 4 hours, transfers easily, and hair sticks to it. Won't repurchase.
TipThose with very dry skin need to use a rich moisturizer as a base, otherwise the makeup will separate and look patchy due to its matte finish.

I went on a shopping spree today because it's my birthday the day after tomorrow. I have some classes on Sunday, so I can't go anywhere then. That's why I decided to stock up on some goodies today! The first item I grabbed was the NARS cushion foundation. It's called Aqua Glow, right? I was in the mood for something a bit more hydrating, so I just went for it. Surprisingly, it's pretty decent! Even though I have combination skin, it seems to be getting drier in winter, so I opted for this glowy cushion. They say the 'Mont Blanc' shade is the lightest, which is funny because you'd think 'Alaska' or 'Finland' would be the palest based on the names alone! Anyway, this cushion isn't super moisturizing, but it's semi-hydrating. And can we talk about that case? It's so pretty! NARS always delivers.
ConsSince I have redness issues, I'm not a fan of pink undertones, but this one seems to have a bit more of a pink tint compared to the other shades. And don't even get me started on the price - it's ridiculous! No refills available, and it's not even worth the splurge. Talk about overpriced!
TipI hope you can convince your mom to buy it for you!

When I first applied it, I was truly wowed! Even as it fades, it maintains a dewy finish - probably the best I've experienced among all the cushions I've tried.
ConsAs someone with a yellowish complexion, I feel the pink base might not provide enough color correction. This could be due to my skin type, but I wish there was a lighter shade available. Also, the quantity! The amount is so small, but I love this cushion more than any other I've used. So, with a heavy heart, I bought a refill.

I'm already on my second refill thanks to a friend's recommendation.
ConsThose with darker complexions might want to think twice. The pinkish undertone can make your face look unexpectedly pale.
TipI'm using it alongside a Chanel concealer for extra coverage.

Plus, while cushions are convenient, I rarely reach for them. If we're being honest, comparing a cushion to a foundation at the same price point, you get more product with the foundation (just between us). Still, I needed one, so I was wondering what to buy. Then I saw the Nars cushion recommended by beauty YouTuber Sseen, so I went for it. First off, it's not a matte cushion, but a dewy one they call 'glow'. Personally, I think it's great for touch-ups. Many beauty creators suggest using a dewy cushion rather than a matte one for touch-ups, and they're spot on. When oil seeps through your pores, making your foundation look cakey and floating, pressing a matte cushion on top can emphasize dead skin cells. Instead, I've found that layering the Nars cushion (a dewy one) and setting with powder works wonders. Highly recommend! Plus, for those who prefer cushion foundations, the coverage is surprisingly good. If you want that 'Inner Glow' look without powder, you can use it on its own too!
ConsThe biggest downside is when the dewy finish crosses over into greasiness... Even after applying the cushion and setting with powder, there's still a bit of stickiness left. As time passes, you'll find yourself touching up more often. It's even worse without powder. The 'Namsan' shade isn't yellow-based but pink, which means it has a lot of white cast. When it mixes with facial oils, it literally floats on your skin - no joke. It gets stuck in your pores, making touch-ups a real hassle. That's why I just use it for touch-ups... Also, because the cushion formula is quite thin and hydrating, if you flip the compact upside down, the product gets on the lid. I hate waste, so I always wipe it clean and use it.

With my extremely dry and sensitive skin, my makeup usually flakes off completely on days when my skin isn't at its best. Despite not feeling great today, my makeup didn't separate at all!
ConsSince I have severe redness and my skin tends to look slightly pink, a green base is essential for me.
