Back when Mise-en-Scene Perfect Serum was all the rage, I used it exclusively for a long time. I remember trying all the varieties, including the original (which I found to be the best, by the way!). Eventually, I got a bit bored and went searching for a lighter essence. Recently, I got a perm, and I noticed that the lighter serums weren't holding my waves well, leaving my hair looking frizzy. So, I decided to return to Mise-en-Scene! Here's what I love about it: 1. When you squeeze it into your hand, it feels rich and concentrated, but it spreads easily on damp hair and feels surprisingly light. 2. If you twist your damp hair into waves and let it set, when you release them later, you get beautiful, defined waves. 3. It makes your hair look healthy and well-conditioned.
1. There's a slight residue left on your hands after applying, so it's nice to wipe or wash them afterward. It's not a major inconvenience though! 2. You can feel a very slight weight to the product in your hair.
1. Apply the serum all over your hair when it's slightly damp, then blow-dry. 2. As you're twisting your hair into waves with your fingers, squeeze out a tiny bit more serum (about the size of your fingernail) and apply it to help set the style. Following these steps gives you natural-looking volume that lasts all day!
