The toner has a slightly viscous texture - you know, what people often call a 'runny nose' consistency? It's not completely watery, but not thick either. What I loved most was how well it balanced oil and moisture. Dry skin doesn't just need hydration, it needs the right amount of oil too, and this toner seemed to provide both in perfect harmony. After use, my skin texture felt smoothed out and refined. These two benefits are why I've repurchased it multiple times!
ConsI can't really call this a downside of the product, but I'm not currently using this toner. The reason is, a few months ago I started getting blemishes and my skin became sensitive. When I used this toner, it didn't feel as good as it used to. It definitely moisturizes well, but when I used it on my troubled skin, it seemed to make things worse rather than calming my skin down. So I'm not using it right now, but I'm sure it's not because of this product. I'd still recommend it to those with dry skin!
TipHere's a tip I've found effective when my skin feels rough or very dry: Pour about a quarter-sized amount of toner into your palm and rub your hands together. Then, gently press your palms against your face, as if you're letting your skin absorb the product. Finish by lightly patting with your fingertips. I've found this method to be much more hydrating than simply wiping with a cotton pad!
