After my skin thinned due to steroid use, I was in a panic because I couldn't find any suitable cosmetics. For me, the AI emulsion doesn't work, but the AI cream does. I think it's because the emulsion contains shea butter. In my current skin condition, the moment my pores get clogged, I experience a burning sensation and blemishes appear. The AI cream doesn't have any pore-clogging ingredients. When I apply it while feeling itchy, it calms down within 10 minutes and feels cool. It seems to have ingredients that reduce inflammation. I can't use the regular Physiogel (blue one).
It would have been really great if they had made the emulsion with the same ingredients as the AI cream, but they added shea butter to the emulsion, so it clogs my pores and I can't use it. As someone who uses up a 50ml tube in 3 weeks, the price is a bit burdensome for me. Also, when you apply it thickly, oil beads up like sweat droplets.
When you apply makeup after using this, your skin looks like it has an Inner Glow. There might be some makeup breakdown, but in winter, it really keeps your skin hydrated for a long time.
