⭐The Hwahae Testers Review⭐ Current skin condition: Since summer, with the weather getting hotter and wearing masks, I suddenly developed severe cystic acne. About a month ago, I couldn't take it anymore and went to the dermatologist for extraction. After taking medication for two weeks, the large cystic acne subsided significantly. However, I'm left with numerous acne scars on both cheeks from picking and squeezing them myself. Let me start with the results. The reason I gave it three stars is that I didn't see significant effects, and my face became very itchy, so I've stopped using it now... haha! To evaluate in detail: The product has a runny texture. Applying one drop each on the cheeks and forehead with the dropper was the right amount. It absorbed well with a hydrating feel rather than an oily one. The container has a dropper, but when you squeeze it to open, it only fills about halfway. I found it a bit odd that the dropper doesn't fill completely. My skincare routine is: Morning: Acnesin - Heartleaf toner (3 layers) - Cica serum Evening: Acnesin - Heartleaf toner (3 layers) - Cica serum - Retinol cream I have combination dehydrated skin, and the heartleaf toner seems to provide enough hydration, so I'm not sure if the cica serum had much of an effect afterward. Even while using it, small cystic acne appeared. In the 'after' photo, you can see I've applied a patch - there's a large blemish preparing to surface underneath. Also, my face became itchy, so I took the medication prescribed by the dermatologist and it subsided. But when I used this product, I felt a slight itchiness, so I switched back to the heartleaf serum I was using before. I don't think I'll purchase and use this again. It seems cica ingredients don't suit me well.
I couldn't really tell the soothing effect that the serum emphasizes. For me, it actually caused more blemishes and itchiness, so I had to stop using it! I think it might be a bit light for those with dry skin!
It seems like it would be good for light use by those who respond well to cica ingredients!
