As the seasons changed, my skin became extremely dry, so I decided to buy this. I wasn't sure which cream to get, so I trusted the Hwahae reviews and made the purchase. I bought it on Gmarket for 20,000 won without any coupons. As expected, it was cheaper online than the retail price, which made me happy.
The cream seems to fulfill its purpose well. Recently, with the change in seasons, my skin became incredibly dry. I usually only applied toner and emulsion, and even with aloe gel, it wasn't enough. But after trying this cream... it was a huge success!
After applying, there was definitely no dryness. It seemed to keep my skin comfortable all day long.
The texture is thicker than an emulsion. While emulsions have a slightly runny consistency that glides on easily, this one is richer and doesn't spread as smoothly.
The scent is really strange. At first, I thought the product might have gone bad - I even considered going to Olive Young to smell a sample for comparison!
Unlike the emulsion, which becomes less sticky after a while, this cream's stickiness lasts for a very long time. So even though my skin is dry these days, it feels greasy and uncomfortable. Even after some time, when I touch my skin, I can clearly feel something lingering on it. It's similar to the feeling of having sunscreen on... I didn't like this slippery sensation. Next time, I want to try a different product for comparison. Since this is my first time using a cream, I'm not sure if they're all like this. For reference, I use slightly more than a pea-sized amount.
The texture is quite rich, so it doesn't absorb as well as an emulsion. I recommend squeezing out small amounts and applying it to different areas of your face! The scent is indeed quite strange, but as you keep using it, you get... used to it.
