  I felt it was effective for blemishes. There's a slight cooling sensation after application. I love that it's vegan too! Although I wasn't used to the cream texture of the essence at first, as opposed to a water-based one, it actually absorbs well into the skin.

  There weren't any downsides! I was concerned about the cream texture, but it absorbs well if you apply the right amount.

  I think I saw some positive effects on my acne when I used it together with my moisturizer.
