As you layer this water tint formula, it's easy to build up to a more intense color, making it perfect for those who prefer a natural, bare-faced makeup look. It's top-notch for light application, and considering its color payoff, longevity, and value for money, it's one of those pretty decent products you can use without much thought. That's why it's one of the lip products I keep stocked up.

While it applies cleanly, the hydration isn't exceptionally strong. Since my lips tend to get dry often, I layer it with more moisturizing lip products.

I've been using Holika Holika's water tint for a while now, and I really like it. It applies smoothly and naturally, which is great. The color isn't too bold, so it's perfect for giving a subtle, fresh look to those who don't usually wear makeup. I'm very satisfied with it.

Apply it and stay still. Don't press your lips together. After about 5 seconds, the color will set perfectly.

It runs out so quickly, it's unbelievable how fast it goes. Also, why is shade #5 so hard to find in stores? Colors 1, 2, and 3 are too neon pink for me to even consider, and I was barely thinking about trying #6, but then I discovered #5 exists? Feeling totally blindsided...

The color is so pretty... It's not too bright, so it doesn't look tacky at all. I used to wear a different shade, but this product is really moisturizing and the color payoff is genuinely nice. It stains well and the price is affordable too. If you find lipsticks feel like you're applying crayons to your lips, and tints are hard to apply evenly, this is definitely worth trying out!

The way it applies is unlike anything I've experienced before... haha! I'm still not used to it, but I have to say, the longevity is impressive.

The disappointing part was when I checked Hwahae and found out the ingredients weren't as good as I had thought. I felt a bit betrayed since I had been using it with such satisfaction. However, it still works well for me, and fortunately, I haven't experienced any blemishes so far.

I absolutely loved the unique cooling effect of the water bar and how smoothly it glides on. It feels like you're applying pure hydration as it melts effortlessly onto your lips! Unlike other brands' water bars that only feel moisturizing during application and then quickly leave your lips feeling dry and tight, this product maintains a level of hydration. While it doesn't keep your lips fully saturated, it's definitely less drying and doesn't cause that tight feeling compared to other brands. It's much easier to apply than a tint, gliding on effortlessly, and the color payoff is fantastic - I'm really satisfied with this product. I also bought the 06 Gogo shade in a two-set deal. Gogo is a cherry red that suits both warm and cool tones, while Deep is more of an orange-red that might be better for those with warm undertones. You can find color comparisons in the last photo!
